Event Date: July 6-8, 2026

 

Location: Coosa Country Club, Rome

 

Eligibility: Open to male amateur golfers under the age of 19 and with a handicap index of 12.0 or lower; a competitor must and not be 19 as of July 6, 2026.

 

Entries Open: March 4 @ 12:00 p.m.

 

Entries Close: May 13 @ 11:59 p.m.

 

Entry Fee: $60 Qualifying Fee/$175 Championship Fee or $235 Exempt Player Fee

 

Field Size: Maximum of 144 Players. There will be a cut to the low 60 players and ties after 36 holes. 

 

Exemptions (based on age eligibility):

• This is an official USGA Exemption Event.  The winner shall receive an exemption into the 2026 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, July 20-25 at Saucon Valley CC in Bethlehem, PA. 
• The winner shall receive an exemption into the 2026 Junior Jones Cup in December at Sea Island Golf Club.
• The winner shall receive an exemption into the 2027 Georgia Amateur Championship to be played at Ansley Golf Club-Settindown Creek, Roswell.
• The winner shall receive AJGA exempt status for the remainder of 2026. 
• The top 8 finishers shall earn an invitation to compete in the Georgia-South Carolina Junior Challenge Match, August 1-2, 2026 at Augusta Country Club.
• Players making the cut shall receive POY points which go towards the two-year points list for the 2027 Kiltie Cup to be played at Muirfield in Scotland.
• Players making the cut shall receive POY points on the Team Georgia USNDP standings.
• The top 25 finishers shall earn AJGA PBE stars.
