WELCOME! The Callaway Junior Tour Rookie League is open to any boy or girl aged 5-18 on the day of the event ( MORE INFO ), and is designed for those wanting extra competition or for those who are not quite ready for the 18-hole events. Membership is not required for the Rookie League, but each Member of the Tour will receive a tour package containing a WVGA VIP card, as well as favors from our sponsors. You may select the division you play in:

 

DIVISIONS:

AAA Division - 9 Holes

“AAA” is for players prepared to play 9 holes at the full length of the most forward set of tees at each golf course. The yardage will vary but is designed for those who are not yet ready to play a full 18 holes of competitive golf.

AA Division - 9 Holes

“AA” is for players that are new to the game and have the endurance and shot length to play 9 holes. WVGA tee markers will be used to play from approximate yardages for each Par:

Par 3 – Max of 100 Yards
Par 4 -Max of 200 Yards
Par 5 – Max of 300 Yards

A Division - 6 Holes

“A” is for players that are new to the game and have the endurance and shot length to play 6 holes. WVGA tee markers will be used to play from approximate yardages for each Par:

Par 3 – Max of 50 Yards
Par 4 – Max of 125 Yards
Par 5 – Max of 175 Yards

 

MAXIMUM SCORE: “Maximum Score” is adopted on the Tour. This means there will be a Maximum number you are allowed to make on a hole, and once you have reached that number you must pickup and go to the next hole. Maximum score for each hole is “Double Par”.

 

CADDIES: Caddies are permitted, and bags may be carried on pull-cart, but players and caddies must walk during the competition

 

SPECTATORS: Parents and spectators are permitted to purchase spectator carts at each facility, based on availability. No Personal Coolers. Please review the Parent/Spectator Guidelines, as well as the Code of Conduct at www.cjrtour.com prior to the tournament. 

 

TRANSFERS/REFUNDS: A 48-hour tournament withdraw notice must be given to Lucas if at all possible, and all withdrawals must be in email. See www.cjrtour.com and www.wvga.org for all WVGA policies. There will be a $5.00 service fee for all tournament refunds.
