Since 1895, Pinehurst and Championship Golf have been synonymous.  Pinehurst held its first marquee event in 1902, The North South Amateur, today a staple in competitive amateur golf. Subsequently Pinehurst has had the privilege to host the PGA Championship (1936), US Amateur (1962, 2008, & 2019), Men's U.S Four-Ball (2017), Men’s US Open (1999, 2004, 2014) and the Women’s US Open (2014).  Now, you will have the opportunity to play where the greats have played.

Entry Fee-$300 per Team (Must be a Signature Member to Participate)

Includes all of the events and prizes. Lads will be awarded for Shootout Champions, Overall Low Gross, 1st Net in each Flight. (Additional green fees may apply based on your membership category).

Friday, June 12th at Pinehurst No. 7

      - Opening Reception - 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday, June 13th at Pinehurst No. 7           

      - 8:30am Shotgun

      - Format: 1 BB of 2 Net (and gross contest) | Handicap 85%

Sunday, June 14th at Pinehurst No. 7        

      - 8:30am Shotgun

      - Format: Chapman Alternate Shot| Handicap 60%/40%

Shootout on Hole #TBD for overall champion immediately after play.

Awards and Lunch after play.

Entries will be accepted on first-in basis. The application opens May 8th and the deadline is May 30th. Registration is located online, by clicking the "Click Here to Register" button at the top or bottom of this page. 

Tees
Course No. 7- Fairwood Tees

Players may choose to play the Green Tees at No. 7 (over 65). Teams playing from the Green Tees will not be eligible for the Overall Gross Champion. Playing partners must play the same tees.

Handicaps

Teams will be flighted according to their combined handicaps. Maximum strokes awarded after adjustment will be 36.

Please keep in mind that this is a Championship event; play will only be suspended if the course is deemed unplayable or closed.  Should you feel the need to withdraw the day of the event, please notify the Golf Professional Staff.
