We welcome you to “The Padgett”, Pinehurst Signature Members annual three-day member-guest tournament.
The Staff here at Pinehurst have been working diligently to deliver the best possible member and guest tournament experience. We are ready and willing to serve all your golfing needs. We trust that you will enjoy your time here. Our sincere wish is to provide you with a memorable experience.
Members must submit their guest's correct and active GHIN Number at registration in order to enter this event.
ENTRY FEE - $TBD
Includes awards, tee prizes, on course contest prizes, Stag Dinner & Cocktails, Awards Dinner & Cocktails. (Additional green fees may apply based on your membership category).
APPLICATION PRIORITY SYSTEM
Applications will be accepted using the following priority system with a “First come first serve” order.
1. First Priority – Signature Members Who Competed Last Year. (June 25th thru June 27th)
2. Second Priority- Signature Members Who Were Waitlisted. (June 28th thru June 30th)
3. Third Priority- All Signature Members (July 1st thru August 1st)

9:33am to 10:54am - Optional Practice Round at No. 7 or No. 9
5:00pm - Par 3 Skills Competition- Shotgun Start on No.9
6:00pm to 9:00pm - Welcome reception for participants only at No. 9 out on the Patio.
- Beer & Wine will be included
Thursday, October 8th at No. 2
6:00am to 9:15am Breakfast the PCC Members Club
8:00am to 10:00am 1st Round- 1st & 10th Tee Start
Format: 1 BB Net of 2- Stableford Scoring
-Walking Caddies will be provided (Gratuity Not Included)
Lunch after Play at the PCC Members Club
Friday, October 9th at No. 7
7:30am to 9:00am Breakfast Sandwiches
9:00am Shotgun- 2nd Round
Format: 1 BB Net of 2- Stableford Scoring
6:00pm to 9:00pm Player and Spouse Dinner at No. 9

Format: 1 BB Net of 2- Stableford Scoring
Shoot-out to determine Overall Champion immediately following play

PRACTICE ROUNDS
Wednesday, October 7th
9:33am to 10:54am - Optional Practice Round at No. 7 or No. 9
DEADLINE
The application deadline is August 1st. Registration will be available online beginning June 26th.
FIELD SIZE
The field will be limited to the first 56 teams registered for the event following the above priority categories.
FORMAT
1 Best Ball Net of a Modified Stableford Scoring.
HANDICAP INFORMATION
The tournament committee will verify indexes for Signature Members & Guests with GHIN posting numbers. Per Pinehurst Country Club Handicap Committee all Guest must have a current USGA GHIN Handicap to participate in all club events. Penalty for any index violations will be disqualification. USGA recommended handicap allowances will be used for each format.
FLIGHTS
Teams will be flighted based on the total handicap index.
CANCELLATIONS
Entry fees for any cancellations after September 10th, which cannot be filled from the Alternate List, will be forfeited. Any refunds, that may be provided for extenuating circumstances and will be handled by the tournament committee on a case-by-case basis.
TEES
Play will be from the WHITE tees on No. 2 and 9, Fairwoods on No. 7
Please keep in mind that this is a Championship event; play will only be suspended if the course is deemed unplayable or closed. Should you feel the need to withdraw the day of the event, please notify the Golf Professional Staff.
