Annie Oakley came here to Pinehurst in 1916 and performed shooting tricks, managed the gun club, and taught shooting lessons for seven seasons. It’s estimated she helped 15,000 women learn to shoot during her lifetime.

Registration opens on July 10th at 8:00am. Entries will be accepted on first-in basis.
Registration deadline is September 25th at 5:00pm. All applicants must be 21 years or older.
Cancellations must be received by October 1st at 5:00pm to avoid being charged.
Format:
Round 1, No. 7: 2 Best Ball of 4 - Shamble
A shamble means all players will hit a drive then choose the best drive then all players will play their own shots until their ball is holed. 3 Scores must be counted from every player excluding Par 3's.
Round 2, No. 9: 2 Best Ball of 4: 6/6/6
1 Best Ball from each pair to have a 2 Best Ball of 4 team score
Holes 1-6: 1 Best Ball from Player A & Player B + Player C & Player D
Holes 7-12: 1 Best Ball from Player A & Player C + Player B & Player D
Holes 13-18: 1 Best Ball from Player A & Player D + Player B & Player C

Each teams flight will be determined by the combined handicap index within the team.
We will be awarding 1st Gross and Net within each Flight.

Handicaps
Teams will be flighted according to their combined handicaps. Players will receive the following handicap allowances:
Course No. 7: 75%
Course No. 9: 85%
Maximum strokes awarded after adjustment will be 36.
Please keep in mind that this is a Championship event; play will only be suspended if the course is deemed unplayable or closed. Should you feel the need to withdraw the day of the event, please notify the Golf Professional Staff.
