2026 MEN'S TEAM SERIES at RUBY VIEW

 

LOCATION: Ruby View Golf Course
 

EVENT DATES: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 11, 12 & 13, 2026
 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, Sept 6, 2026 at 5:00 pm
 

ENTRY FEE: 

  • Team registration : 
  • $350 per team - Non Ruby View members
  • $270 per team - One Ruby View member, one non-member
  • $180 per team - Two Ruby View members
  •  
  • Includes green fee, cart, prize fund and food after the round Sunday.

 

DIVISIONS: Men's Net, Senior Men's Net - Scratch over the field will be awarded.

 

ELIGIBILITY:  Players must appear on the current active list of NNGA members prior to tournament deadline and be considered an amateur under the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

FORMAT: 

  • Friday, Round 1 -Two-Person Scramble - Stroke Play, 18 Holes : Both Players will tee off, the team will select the best tee shot and both players will play from that location.  This process will continue for every shot until the ball is holed. 
  • Team Handicap Allowance = 35% of the low handicap + 15% of the high handicap
  • Saturday, Round 2 - FOUR-BALL - Stroke Play, 18 Holes : Four-Ball, commonly referred to as “better ball,” is a format in which two golfers compete together as a side, with each player playing their own ball. A side’s score for a hole is the lower score of the two partners on that hole. It can be played as gross or net and as stroke play or match play.
    • Team Handicap Allowance = 85% 
  • Sunday, Round 3 - Greensomes (Modified Alternate Shot) - Stroke Play, 18 Holes : Both Players will tee off, the team will select the best tee shot.  The partner whose shot is not selected will play the next shot from that location.  The partners will then alternate shots until the ball is holed.  
    • Team Handicap Allowance = 60% of the low handicap + 40% of the high handicap

 

DIVISIONS FOR SEASON LONG RACE TO PLAYOFFS:  Men's Net, & Men's Senior Net, awarded points will apply to the 2027 season.

HANDICAP FOR NET DIVISIONS: 
Handicaps as of five days before the event date will be used.
USGA Handicap Allowances (Appendix C of the Rules of Handicapping) will be used for all events. 
Maximum Playing Handicap of 27 for men.

 

REFUND POLICY: 
Once entry fees have been processed five days before the event date, there will be NO REFUNDS.  
Any player who needs to withdraw must contact either the Tournament Director (tmatzke@nevadagolf.org) or Executive Director (cmacgregor@nevadagolf.org). 
Only in special circumstances will any refund be considered, less a $20.00 processing fee per player.
