ENTRY FEE: $150
REFUND POLICY: Entry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if LGA office is notified, in writing, before the close of entries. After the close of entries, fee will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness provided notification (accompanied by a doctor’s statement) reaches LGA office by July 20th, 2026. A $30 service charge will be deducted from all refunds.
Eligibility: Entries are open to any junior who is an amateur golfer (as defined by the USGA) and is an active 2026 member of the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour. Entrants must be 10 years of age by midnight, July 21st, 2026, and cannot have reached their 19th birthday by midnight, July 22nd, 2026. Non-amateurs are not eligible. Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the championship) by the LGA. Reasons for rejection may include unbecoming conduct.
Field/Format of Play: Limited to the first 90 entries. There will be an allocated number of spots per age division. Once an age division is full, a waitlist will begin to accumulate for that division. Note: Some age divisions may fill up faster than others. Participants must choose to enter the appropriate divsion (Boys (10-11), Boys (12-13), Overall Boys (14-18), or Overall Girls (13-18)).
Yardages:
Boys (10-11): approx. 5,100 - 5,200 yards
Boys (12-13): approx. 5,600 - 5,700 yards
Boys (14-18): approx. 6,600 - 6,700 yards
Girls (13-18): approx. 5,600 - 5,700 yards
Participants must declare his/her participation in the division which they intend to compete during
Dress Code: Competitors must be neat in appearance and wear appropriate attire. No gym shorts, cutoffs, blue jeans, tee shirts, etc. Shorts must be Bermuda length. Important Note: TPC Louisiana is a spikeless facility and all competitors will be required to wear spikeless shoes.
Practice Privileges: Practice privileges are extended to participants in the Tournament at TPC Louisiana on July 20th, 2026. The driving range at TPC Louisiana will be available from 6am-3pm on tournament days.
Top Finishers: Crystal trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in all divisions except the Boys 10-11 division. Top finishers in Boys 10-11 division will recieve medals. A medal will also be awarded to the top finisher aged 15-and-under in the Overall Boys' division.
AJGA PBE: AJGA PBE Stars will be awarded for this event in the Boys 14-18 Division.
Champion: 4 stars
Top 10%: 1 star
LJGT Player of the Year Points: Louisiana Junior Player of the Year Points will be awarded at this event.
Rules of Golf: Play will be governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and LGA Rules of Play Card. All questions will be settled by the LGA Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. Automotive transportation (carts) and/or caddies will not be permitted. Caddies: Competitors will not be permitted to use caddies. All participants will carry their own clubs. Pull carts will be permitted.
