This correspondence will verify your entry into the U.S. Junior Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Kaufman Golf Course on Monday, June 17, 2019.

*Parents, step-parents, or guardians can NOT be caddies for their own son. Failure to comply with this condition results in the player receiving a two stroke penalty (Maximum of Four Strokes).*

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

NEW GROOVE CONDITION OF COMPETITION: The player’s clubs must conform to the groove and punch mark specifications in the Rules of Golf that are effective from January 1, 2010.

TOURNAMENT DATE: Monday, June 17 

DIRECTIONS: Take I-131 to 44th St. Exit, and go west on 44th.St. 1 block to Clyde Park, then south 4 blocks to the course.

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: The following Rule applies to players and caddies. In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

FOOD:  The clubhouse will have food available for purchase.

CADDIES/CARTS: All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag or bring their own caddie. Caddies must also walk. Parents, step-parents, or guardians can NOT be caddies for their own son.  Failure to comply with this condition, results in the player receiving a two stroke penalty (Maximum of Four Strokes). If a player fails to cease the use of a parent or guardian as their caddy, they will be DISQUALIFIED.  Pull carts may be used if the host club allows them. USGA policy does not permit spectator carts.

PRACTICE RANGE: Complimentary for players on the day of the competition, prior to play only.  Open one hour before the first tee time.

PLAYOFF:  In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions

WITHDRAWAL:  If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
