ENTRY FEE: $300 PER TEAM



REFUND POLICYEntry fee will be refunded regardless of reason if LGA office is notified, in writing, before the close of entries. After the close of entries, entry fee will be refunded only in the event of injury or illness provided notification (accompanied by a doctor’s statement) reaches LGA office by October 23rd, 2026. A $60 service charge will be deducted from all refunds.

EligibilityEntries are open to any junior who is an amateur golfer (as defined by the USGA) and is an active member of the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour. Entrants must be 10 years of age by midnight, October 24, 2026, and cannot have reached their 19th birthday by midnight, October 25, 2026. Non-amateurs are not eligible. Entries are subject to rejection at any time (including during the championship) by the LGA. Reasons for rejection may include unbecoming conduct. 

 

Parent/Guardian Eligibilty: Do not need any type of membership. The LJGT will allow any parent, guardian, or grandparent to partner up with the active LJGT member. The LJGT will not allow siblings or cousins to participate. 

Field/Format of PlayLimited to the first 36 team entries. There will be an allocated number of spots per age division. Once an age division is full, a waitlist will begin to accumulate for that division. Note: Some age divisions may fill up faster than others. Participants must choose to enter the appropriate division: Boys 10-13 Division, Boys 14-18 Division, or the Girls 13-18 Division. The Boys 10-11 and 12-13 division will combine into one division. 

 

For all divisions, the event format will be a 2-person scramble.

 

 

Competitors will be permitted to use automotive transportation (carts). LJGT Members without a drivers license are not allowed to drive the cart.

 


Dress CodeCompetitors must be neat in appearance and wear appropriate attire. No gym shorts, cutoffs, blue jeans, tee shirts, etc. Shorts must be Bermuda length.  Note:  Querbes Park is a spikeless facility and all competitors will be required to wear spikeless shoes. 

Practice PrivilegesPractice privileges are extended to participants in the Tournament at Querbes Park on October 23, 2026. You may call the Querbes Park Golf Shop on Oct. 16th to book your practice round tee times. 

Top Finishers: Wooden Plaques will be awarded to the champions in each divisison. Medals will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place teams. In case of a tie for the championship in all divisions, a sudden death playoff will take place immediately upon the conclusion of play. All other ties, determining medals and recognition, will be decided by matching scorecards (also known as "card count-back" or scorecard play-off), per the USGA method in section 5A(6) of the Committee Procedures.


Rules of GolfPlay will be governed by the current USGA Rules of Golf and LGA Rules of Play Card. All questions will be settled by the LGA Rules Committee, whose decision will be final. Automotive transportation (carts) and/or caddies will not be permitted.
