Eligibility: Open to all active CGA Members, age 25 and older on or before April 27, 2026.

Registration Opens: Monday, March 16, 2026 at 08:00 AM

Registration Deadline: Monday, April 13, 2026 at 05:00 PM

Entry Fee: $125.00

Field Size: Maximum of 64 players, exempt and non-exempt. 

Registration Priority: All players will be placed in pending status when registering. Players on the exempt list will be admitted into the championship field with first priority. Any remaining spots in the field will be filled by non-exempt players in order of Handicap Index (low-high) as of the registration deadline. Once the 64 player limit is filled, all other players will be placed on the waitlist. Players still on the waitlist as of the first day of the Round of 64 will be dropped from the waitlist. 

Format: This is a 64 player match play event played in single elimination over a period of April – September. Each round’s matches are 18 hole matches. The Round of 64, 32, 16 and quarterfinals will be played by players scheduling their matches with their opponent on their own, at a course of their own choosing.

Timing/Schedule of Matches – The entire championship will be played between April 28th and October 7th.

• Round of 64 - April 27th through June 1st
• Round of 32 – June 8th through July 13th
• Round of 16 – July 20th through August 17th
• Quarterfinals – August 24th through September 21st
• Semi-Finals & Finals – October 7th at TPC Colorado

Yardages – Matches should be played from a tee that is between 6,800 – 7,200 yards

Match Extensions – Players will be able to request an extension of the match window once. The extension will be no more than one (1) week after the match deadline of that round. The extension does not apply to the Semi-Final and Final round. Players must notify the CGA Tournament Department (Championships@coloradogolf.org) before the end of the round window to receive the extension. If the match is still not completed by the end of the extension, the winner of the match will be decided by draw.

Results Reporting: The winner of each match must report the result of the match by emailing the CGA Tournament Department (Championships@coloradogolf.org)

Seeding – The bracket will be seeded as follows:

• Exempt Players - Will be seeded using the order of the exemption categories. 
• Non-Exempt Players - Will be seeded using handicap index as of the registration deadline.

Carts and Caddies: Carts are included in the entry for players making the Semi-Finals and Finals at TPC Colorado. Players may also choose to walk or provide their own caddie.

Player Food: Food will be available for purchase inside the restaurant at TPC Colorado the player's expense. 

Score Posting: The CGA does not post match play scores to GHIN.
