Eligibility
Male amateurs regardless of age or affiliation.

Entry Fee and Deadline
$170 (cart included).  Deadline for entry is Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11:00 PM or when field fills.   

Format
36 holes of individual stroke play with two age divisions.  Champion to be determined in each division.  The event may be shortened to 18 holes if weather cancels either round.  Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division.

Note:  The Committee reserves the right to adjust the Playing Handicap of golfers who make exceptional scores as defined by the World Handicap System for subsequent rounds in multi-day events.  


Pre-Tournament Par 3 Contest
Mariah Hills Golf Course will host a complimentary Par 3 Contest on Friday, August 21st beginning at 6 pm. If you would like to participate, please be at the clubhouse/practice putting green at 5:30 pm for some announcements on the contest. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the Par 3 Contest.

Divisions
Two age divisions:

  • Open (any age, gross scoring only)
  • Masters/Senior (at least 40 years old as of August 22, 2026; gross & net scoring)


Course Set-Up
The golf course will be set-up at approximately:

  • 7,000 yards (Open Division)
  • 6,500 yards (Masters/Senior Division)

Pairings and Order of Play
Round One Order of Play (by division): Determined by course starting schedule. Round Two Order of Play (by division): Masters/Senior, Open.


Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time.  Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.

Practice Rounds

Practice rounds are available on Friday, August 21st. Cost is $25 with cart. Call the golf shop at the host course to arrange a practice round time.
 

Cart Rules, Spectator Carts and Caddie Rules
Central Links Golf has adopted a new "One Seat" cart policy for championships effective July 15, 2025 and it applies to this championship. The policy can be viewed here.  

Carts will be provided as part of your entry fee for the championship, but only two club owned carts are allowed per starting time. No exceptions.


Caddies are allowed for this event and the actions of the caddie during the round are the responsibility of the player (Rule 10.3c). This is the default position for caddies for Central Links Golf events, but availability may vary from event to event or any other factors affecting this policy. 

Spectator carts will be available at the discretion and fee set by the host course, but will be very limited.

Registration
There will be no registration at this event.  You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time.  This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.

Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.

Hotels
There is no host hotel or hotel block arranged for this event.

Food & Beverage
Host course snack bar is open daily for any food and beverage needs.

Method of Payments
Host club accepts cash or credit card for all purchases.
 

When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
