Saturday, June 20th -- Second round (18 holes) - 7:30 am & 12:00 pm waves - #1 & #10; field cut for final round (see below)
Sunday, June 21st -- Third round (18 holes) - 7:30 am from #1 & #10 tees

Eligibility
Open to any male amateur regardless of age or affiliation with a WHS Handicap Index of 9.9 or less.
Entry Fee and Deadline
$235. Deadline for entry is Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Waitlist Policy
New in 2026, the following waitlist policy is being implemented for this championship:
This Central Links Golf Championship field size will be set to 10 players less than a full field size (ex: The Railer Stroke Play Championship max field of 144 players will be set to 134 players). At entry close, Central Links Golf will allocate the ten remaining spots as exemptions to qualified players deserving of being in the final field, no matter their position on the waitlist. Generally, this will mean players that have historically supported this event or have a history of high finishes at Central Links Golf Championships. For players who need to withdraw before the entry deadline but after a waitlist has been created, their spot will be given in the order of first come first serve from the waitlist. The waitlist will be published on the event portal website as soon as it is created. 
Format & Cut
54 holes of individual stroke play (gross scoring only) with two age divisions. Overall Champion to be determined in each division. The event may be shortened if weather cancels any round.
New in 2026 - Following the second round of play, a cut will be made to approximately the low 65 players & ties in the Open Division and the low 15 & ties in the Senior Division for the final round. Final cut numbers for each division will be announced following the entry deadline, but are anticipated to be approximately 60 & ties in the Open Division and 20 & ties in the Senior Division.
Awards
Gift certificates from the host club will be awarded in amounts to be determined based on the number of total entries within each division. Additionally, we will daily games (skins, low rounds) for additional gift certificates.
Complimentary Player Lunches
Lunch will be provided to all players during the first two days of the championship as part of your entry fee. Lunch will be available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Divisions & Course Set-Up
Two age divisions:
- Open (any age; 7,200 yards)
- Senior (age 50 & Older; 6,500 yards)
Pairings
Groupings and starting times for round one and two will be posted after the entry deadline. Groupings for the final round will be based on round one & two scoring results. Senior Division will play first in round three.
Practice Round
Please call (316) 284-6161 to arrange a practice round for Thursday, June 18th. Cost is $30 (cart and range balls included). Please identify yourself as a Railer tournament contestant to receive the discounted rate. Tee times can be booked one week in advance.
Clubhouse and Practice Facilities
Clubhouse and practice facilities open one hour prior to the first starting time. Practice facilities are for tournament contestants use only.
Carts, Spectators and Caddies
Carts are included as part of your entry fee. Only two carts are allowed per starting time. No exceptions.
Caddies are allowed for this event and the actions of the caddie during the round are the responsibility of the player (Rule 10.3c). This is the default position for caddies for Central Links Golf events, but availability may vary from event to event or any other factors affecting this policy. Caddies are allowed to ride on and operate the golf cart, provided space is available. Central Links Golf has a strict two carts per group policy and the carts are reserved for the players first. If a group has more than one caddie, arrangements must be made within the group to accommodate the cart policy. If you bring a caddie, they should be prepared to walk as a cart seat is not guaranteed.
If you bring a caddie, you and your caddie should be prepared to walk.
Spectator carts will NOT be available.

Hotels
No hotel blocks available for this event. There are several hotels in Newton and north Wichita area.
Registration
There will be no registration at this event. You are responsible to be at your assigned starting tee at least five (5) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time. This will give you adequate time to receive instructions and information from the Starter.
Score Posting
Scores from each round of this championship will be posted to the GHIN Handicap System.
Method of Payments
Sand Creek Station Golf Course accepts cash or credit card for all purchases.
When Competition is Final
The competition is final when the trophy has been presented to the winner or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee. The Result of a match is final when the Committee has approved the result as posted on the public scoreboard.
