34th Utah Senior Women's State Amateur Championship

$150 per player

Opens: Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 09:00 AM
Closes: Thursday, September 03, 2026 at 04:00 PM
FORMAT
This championship will be a 36-hole stroke-play championship followed by a match play bracket. Competitors will be broken up into flights based on handicap index. At the end of 36-holes, net and gross prizes will be awarded. After 36-holes of stroke play, the top eight ladies from the championship division will move onto an eight-lady match play bracket. The quarterfinal matches will be played in the afternoon of day 3. Semifinal matches will be played in the morning of day 4 with the final match to be played in the afternoon. The Senior Women’s State Amateur Champion will be determined by the winner of the eight-lady bracket.

Day 1: 8:00am Tee Times off Hole #1
Day 2: 8:00am Shotgun followed by lunch
Day 3: 1:00pm Quarterfinal matches off Hole #1
Day 4: 8:00am Semifinal matches off Hole #1 & ~12:30pm Final Match off Hole #1

84 Women Maximum
ELIGIBILITY
All amateur UGA members age 50+ with the assigned sex of female at birth who have an active USGA Handicap Index are eligible to compete in this championship. For any player wishing to compete in a gender competition classification that is different than their sex assigned at birth or for any player who has transitioned or is currently transitioning to a gender that is different than their sex assigned at birth, in addition to completing this registration you will also need to follow the processes outlined in the UGA Competitive Fairness Gender Policy and comply with all eligibility requirements therein.

Starting times will be e-mailed to players after the registration deadline has passed.
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Bountiful Ridge is a pre-pay facility. Please book all practice rounds on their website. Players are responsible for all practice round fees.
FLIGHT INFORMATION
The field will be broken into flights determined using the September 4th handicap revision. Gross and Net winners will be awarded.

REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS
If a player withdrawals prior to the registration deadline the player will receive a refund minus a $20 cancellation fee. After the deadline, the player will receive a 50% refund. Beginning the day before the event, no refunds will be issued if a player withdraws or no shows (For Example, if an event begins on Monday, any withdrawal starting on Sunday will result in no refund). A business day starts at 12:01 am of that day. In team competitions, if a player needs a substitute for his original partner after the field has closed; he must arrange to get the substitute. Any substitute must meet all eligibility requirements of the specified competition. The UGA must be notified of any substitutions prior to the start of the tournament.
