The 2026 JM MEDIA OPEN is an Official Event on the VGT Summer schedule with valuable points at stake for the 2026 SRIXON Points Race.

TEE-TIMES: 10:00am-3:00pm both days

• 36-holes of Championship Golf at GREENTEE Country Club, Langley ($190)

*The event offers over $12,000 in Amateur prizes & tee gifts based on a full field of 80  Amateurs.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Open to both Male & Female Amateur Golfers with a registered handicap index of 26.0 or less.  Priority will be given to VGT members until 2 weeks out.

 

OPEN DIVISION: PLEASE REGISTER FOR MAY 8-9TH EVENT!

 

FOUR AMATEUR FLIGHTS: Open to Male & Female Amateurs with registered handicap index 26.0 & less.  Players will compete for their title as well as gross and net prizing as follows:

 

Championship Flight: index of 5.0 & less

• Senior Championship Flight players (55+ years) will play within the championship flight at approximately 10% shorter yardage.

Flight One: 5.1 to 9.0 index

Flight Two: 9.1 to 14.0 index

Flight Three: 14.1 to 26.0 index

• Super Senior players (70+ years) in flights 1-3 – will be allowed to play one tee up.

All players must create a VGT Player Profile in Golf Genius to be eligible to play the 2026 VGT Season.

By registering, you agree to adhere to all player policies and procedures outlined on the VGT website as well as the 2026 VGT Code of Conduct:

 

FULL FIELD SIZE: 

 

Amateurs: 80 Players

 

 

For this event, for all Divisions and handicap flights, Male and Females will compete against one another for one overall Prize Purse. Female golfers will be provided with a shorter yardage equal to approx..85-90% of the Men’s yardage.

 

MEMBER PRIORITY until April 23^rd at 6pm.

VGT Members are given priority registration up until 2 weeks out.

After this time non-members who have registered with payment will be admitted into the field if the event is not full with members.

 

FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, April 29^th at 6PM PST.

 

ANTICIPATED TEE YARDAGES: 

 

Male Professionals & Championship Amateurs: Approximately 6,700 yards (Gold)

Male Senior Champ Flight: Approximately 5,900 yards (white)

Male Flight 1,2 & 3 Golfers: 5,900 yards (white tees)

Male Super Seniors (70+): 5,200 yards (green tees)

Female Professionals & Female Championship Amateurs: Approx. 5,900 yards (white)

Female Senior Champ Flight & Flight 1-3 Golfers: Approximately 5,200 yards (green)

 

ENTRY FEES:

 

PROFESSIONALS:

 

VGT Member: $475+GST = $498.75

Non-Members: $550+GST = $577.50

 

Skins Game: Add $40 to play in skins both days & qualify for 2 x $5,000 Hole-in-one jackpots/day.

 

AMATEUR ENTRY FEES:

 

VGT Member: $375+GST = $393.75

Non-member: $425+GST = $446.25

 

ELITE AMATEURS (5.0 & LESS) PLAYING IN OPEN DIVISION CLICK “add $100” to entry.

 

VGT Member (Open purse): $475+GST = $498.75 (play in ‘Open’ field for cash purse)

Non-Member (Open purse): $525+GST = $551.25 (play in ‘Open’ field for cash purse)

 

The maximum allowable cash prize for Amateurs is $1,200/event in the “Open” event.

 

Whether Amateurs play for the ‘Am only’ or “Open’ purse, they will compete for season-long Amateur Order of Merit points within the Championship Division.

OPTIONAL SKINS GAME & HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOTS:

If you wish to play in the skins game both days, please add $40 for the 2 days ($20/day) and this makes you eligible for a minimum of 2 x $5,000 Hole-in-one jackpots each day!

 

Pro & Champ Amateur (5.0 & less) Divisions are combined for the GROSS SKINS game.

All other Amateur Divisions are combined for the NET SKINS game.

 

• As of Feb.20^th, there are 2 X $5,000 HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOTS up for grabs!!

 

VGT GIFT CARD PRIZING: 

Amateur Players will win $$ in VGT GIFT CARDS for placing in the top 25% of their flight.  They can be cashed in at any time by shopping on our online store at www.myvgt.com.  If you cannot find prizing online, special orders may be made for Srixon, Maui Jim, Cleveland Golf, Asics Golf Shoes and YETI coolers. 

 

Players have until October 30, 2026 to cash in their VGT GIFT CARDS if they wish to bundle them up for larger purchases throughout the season! Inventory will continually be uploaded to the store throughout the year.
