CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:

  • 36 Holes, Stroke Play
  • There will be no cut after 18 Holes


Tuesday, June 30, 2026 - Round One (18 Holes)

Wednesday, July 1, 2026 - Round Two (18 Holes)

ELIGIBILITY:

Field will be limited to 132 players.

 

Professionals: RI PGA members, New England PGA members and apprentices, and RI Residents will pay an entry fee of $400.00.

 

Unaffiliated & Non-RI Resident Professionals: Will be eligible and pay an entry fee of $500.00. 

 

Amateurs: Amateur golfers who are Active & Regular Members of the RIGA with a handicap index of 2.5 or less and must have 2025 or 2026 Player of the Year points.  Preference will be give to professionals. All amateurs will be put on a waiting list and will be notified of their status after the entry deadline. The amateur entry fee is $200.00.
 

ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026

ENTRIES CLOSE: Wednesday, June 22, 2026
 

PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on rigalinks.org after entries close.

 

ENTRY FEE: See above for fee based on applicable category. The fee includes range and cart fees for both rounds.

Purse will be determined prior to the start of the championship.

 

All contestants will play from the Championship Tees.
 

SKINS POOL: There will be an optional skins pool.  Fee is $20/day - cash only.
 

SENIOR DIVISION: Available for players who have reached their 50th birthday as of beginning of the tournament. There will be a separate purse for the Senior Division. A portion of the entry fee for the Seniors will be allocated to this purse.


LATE ENTRIES: If a player wishes to enter a tournament after the entry deadline, and if there is an available spot for that player, there will be an additional charge of $25.00. 
 

CART & CADDIE POLICY: Carts are permissible and included in the entry fee. A player may take a caddie or carry their  own bag at any stage of the competition.
 

CONDITIONS/SCHEDULES:  The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.
