CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:

• 120 Players (includes all qualifiers and exempt players)

  June 22-23 – Stroke play qualifying (18 holes per day); the low 32 players advance to match play

  June 24 – Rounds one and two of match play

  June 25 – Quarterfinal and Semifinal matches

  June 26 – 36-hole Final Match

 

PRIZES

• The Champion will receive an exemption into the 2026 U.S. Amateur Championship.
• The Champion and Finalist receive gift certificates and trophies.
• All match play qualifiers receive gift certificates.
• On-site qualifying medalist(s) will receive a VSGA medal.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

• Available: June 13-21, except the course is closed Tuesdays. 
• Fee: TBD
• Call the Pro Shop at (757) 460-7936 for to book a practice round starting time. Be sure to identify yourself as playing a practice round for this event. Do not just show up.
