To compete in the Senior Amateur, both members of a team must have reached their 55th birthday as of May 21, 2017

Partners are not required to be from the same club.

ENTRIES

All teams must submit an entry prior to the close of entries (5:00 PM on TUESDAY, MAY 2, 2017). One member of the team must file the entry at the NYSGA website.  The player to register the team will be prompted during the registration process to select their partner via a search by last name. If the partner is not available, then the partner does not have an account in the database. Complete the registration process without selecting your partner and you will receive a confirmation email with additional information on how to add your partner to your entry.

The entry fee of $325 must be paid by the partner who registers when the entry is submitted. This fee will be refunded regardless of reason if the NYSGA is notified (315-471-6979 or via email at champs@nysga.org) before the close of entries. After the close of entries, the fee will be refunded in the event of injury or illness, if requested by May 17, 2017. No refunds will be given for any reason after May 17, 2017. A $15 service fee will be deducted from all refunds.

FORMAT

The format of this championship is 36 holes of four-ball stroke play. The team with the lowest score after 36 holes will be the champions. A tie for either championship division after 36 holes will be played off immediately, hole-by-hole, until a champion is determined.
