CHAMPIONSHIP FORMAT:

• Field limited to 144 players, accepted by the lowest Handicap Index

  July 27 – Round one of stroke play qualifying (field cut to low 60 players and ties)

  July 28 – Round two of stroke play qualifying (top 16 players advance to match play)

  July 29 – Round of 16 and Quarterfinals of match play

  July 30 – Semifinal and Final matches

 

PRIZES

• Trophies will be awarded to the Champion, Finalist, and Semifinalists.
• A VSGA medal will be awarded to the Medalist.
• All players advancing to match play receive an exemption into the 2027 VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship.
• The Champion receives an exemption into the VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship for all remaining years of eligibility.

 

CADDIE INFORMATION

• Players may have a caddie, but he/she must meet the same age requirements for the tournament as the player.

 

PRACTICE ROUNDS

• Available: July 25 after 2:30 p.m. or July 26 after 1 p.m.
• Fee: $40 to walk or $60 to ride (must have valid driver's license)
• To make a practice round starting time email Ray Dingledine at ray.dingledine@stonehengegcc.com. Do not call the Pro Shop. Do not just show up.
