PRIOR TO PLAY
- Visit LEVELWEAR at registration to pick up your pre-ordered gear, or browse and select items on-site if you missed the pre-order deadline
- StretchLab will be offering complimentary 15-minute guided stretches starting at 8:30 AM at the driving range. Two lucky winners will be randomly drawn from a list of players who get stretched with the StretchLab team, and will receive vouchers for complimentary sessions at any participating StretchLab studio.
- Grab-and-go breakfast items will be available from The Kettle window. Please click here to view the available options. Please note that breakfast items are not included and may be purchased separately.
10:00 AM SHOTGUN START
DURING PLAY
- Teed Up will be on hole #1, providing each player with their preferred flavour of Teed Up Performance Drink
- E-Z-GO will have an on-course Closest to the Pin competition on hole #4 with a $250.00 Visa gift card up for grabs
- Capital Wealth Management will have an on-course Closest to the Pin competition (all players) on hole #10 for a pair of Blue Jays tickets
- Capital Wealth Management will be hosting a Shot Tracer activation on hole #11
- Cash in your Vegas Baby Pro Am poker chip for a complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink – redeemable at the halfway house on hole #11 or with the roaming beverage cart (Poker chips must be redeemed before or during play — it will not be honoured once the round has ended)
POST-ROUND
- Scoring will be conducted in the Carrick room in the main clubhouse
- Dinner, proudly provided by Capital Wealth Management, followed by the trophy & prize presentation in the main clubhouse

DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR PURSE PAYOUTS
- All tournament payouts will be disbursed using direct deposit.
- If you have not yet signed up for direct deposit for your tournament winnings, please email Kristine Schmidt or call the office at 905-887-6060 Ext. 223.
- If you have registered for direct deposit with the PGA of Ontario and have recently changed your banking details or mailing address this also applies to you.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
- Cancellation/Refund Policy – No refund will be provided after the tournament/event tee sheet has been released to the players and/or posted on the PGA of Ontario website. Please note this means that regardless of the circumstance, a refund cannot be provided once a player commences play.
- A refund may be provided in the following circumstances:
- A full refund will be provided if a player withdraws from the event due to medical reasons no later than 10:00 am on the Friday before the event. The refund will be issued once the PGA of Ontario office receives a doctor’s note.
- A full or partial refund will be provided due to extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of the Tournament Committee. The PGA of Ontario Tournament Committee will review all submitted supporting documents to provide a fair and equitable resolution in a timely manner.
- A full refund will be provided if the cancelling player/team finds an eligible* PGA of Ontario member/team to take their place.
- It is the cancelling player’s/team’s responsibility to find an eligible* PGA of Ontario member/team to replace them and notify the PGA of Ontario office no later than 24 hours before the event starts.
- The cancelling player’s/team’s refund will be processed once the replacement player/team has paid their entry fee in full.
- If the cancelling player’s spot is NOT filled 24 hours prior to the event’s start time, a refund will not be issued.

COURSE
- Hoot Course
FIELD
- Maximum 60 Teams (120 Players)
FORMAT
- 1-6 Better Ball, 7-12 Alternate Shot, 13-18 Scramble
- Select a Drive Alternate Shot: Each Professional play tee shots, the best ball is selected, the golfer whose drive was not chosen hits the second shot, continuing alternating until the ball is holed out.
- Penalty strokes do not affect the order of play in alternate shot.
YARDAGES
- Professional (Men) 59 and Under Black
- Professional (Men) 60+ Blue
- Professional (Women) 59 and Under Osprey (Blue/White)
- Professional (Women) 60+ White
PLAYOFFS
- The Championship tie will be decided by a “sudden victory” playoff immediately following the conclusion of play. If still tied after 1 hole, the Championship will be decided by shootout from 100 yards. One shot per competitor, closest to the hole and on the green will declare the Champions.
PRIZE MONEY – TIES
- In the event of ties, prize money will be divided equally among those tied, except that if a competitor wins a playoff for the Championship, that player will receive first-place prize money.
DRIVING RANGE
- The driving range will be open and balls are available on the range.
CARTS AND ON-COURSE EQUIPMENT
- Power carts are included. Players must adhere to the host facility cart rules.
WATER ON-COURSE
- Water stations will not be available on the course. We recommend coming prepared. Complimentary bottled water will be provided in your cart.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
- A post-round meal is included.
CHECK-IN WITH TOURNAMENT CONVENOR
- Players are to check in at registration no less than 10 minutes before the shotgun time.
DRESS CODE
- Competitors must adhere to the PGA of Ontario Dress Code which is also available in the competitor registration package.
- **Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. Open-toed footwear, (sandals of any type/flip flop style footwear) will not be permitted into host venue Clubhouses before or upon completion of any Ontario Zone sanctioned round.
MEASURING DEVICES
- A player may obtain distance information by using a device that: MEASURES DISTANCE ONLY
- However, if a distance measuring device has additional functionality that can gauge or measure other conditions that might affect a player’s play (e.g. elevation change, wind speed, etc.), the use of any such additional function would be a breach of Rule 4.3a.
SPECIFICATIONS OF CLUBS AND THE BALL
- List of Conforming Driver Heads: Model Local Rule G-1 is in effect.
Penalty for making a stroke with a club in breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.
- Groove and Punch Mark Specifications: Model Local Rule G-2 is in effect.
Penalty for making a stroke with a club in breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.
- List of Conforming Golf Balls: Model Local Rule G-3 is in effect.
Penalty for making a stroke with a ball in breach of this Local Rule: Disqualification.
- Replacing Club that is Broken or Significantly Damaged – Model Local Rule G-9 is in effect.

MUSIC
- Music at a minimal volume level and agreed upon by the group may be played.
TRAVEL
- The PGA of Ontario assumes no responsibility for entrants' travel arrangements. The PGA of Ontario advises entrants not to book travel or room arrangements before confirmation of tournament acceptance unless those arrangements can be cancelled without penalty.
TIME OF STARTING
- All players in a group must be present and READY TO PLAY at the time laid down by the Committee. The order of play is not relevant. READY TO PLAY is defined as being on or near the player's first tee accompanied with the necessary equipment needed to put a ball in play. Notification by a PGA of Ontario Rules Official will be given to late starters on the first tee or as soon as practicable.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY
Team Event Alcohol Policy
- The PGA of Ontario will allow the purchase of alcohol from the host facility during team events only. This policy will be reviewed following each event and if any issues arise (including, but not limited to, professional conduct, alcohol abuse, or liability), this policy will be revoked immediately.
- Penalties will be issued based on any professional violating Liquor Laws, our Tournament Policy and/or the PGA Code of Professional Conduct and Safe Sport Policy.
- The PGA of Ontario will abide by each facility's drug policy.
ANTI-DOPING POLICY
- The PGA of Ontario has adopted the Canadian Anti-Doping Program set by Sport Integrity Canada. For further information please visit www.sportintegrity.ca.
