Player Information Sheet

 

Schedule of Play/Format: 18-holes, Four-Ball Stroke Play - GROSS and NET Divisions (85% Handicap). Men and Women will play from different sets of tees. In the event of a tie, a hole-by-hole playoff will commence immediately following the close of competition.

 

Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the MASS GOLF HARD CARD. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the championship site. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition. For a side’s score to count, the correct score for each hole must be individually identifiable on the official scorecard.

Golf Carts, Caddies, & Push/Pull Carts: Golf carts are permitted for the Championship proper and were included in the entry fee. Golf carts will be staged in front of the clubhouse with both players names. The use of caddies, and push/pull carts is also permitted.

 

Starting Times: You can find the STARTING TIMES & PAIRINGS here. Please make sure to be at the 1st tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time to ensure that all proper instructions are received from the starter. 

 

Tees/ Approximate Yardage: Please see below for the approximate yardages we will be using for this Championship. 

  • Men - Combination of the Black/Blue club tee set
    • ~6,200 yards
  • Women - Combination of White/Green club tee set
    • ~5,200 yards

 

Practice Round Information: 

  • Tuesday, April 28th - 11:00am-11:30am
  • Wednesday, April 29th - 11:00am-11:30am
  • Thursday, April 30th - 11:00am-11:30am
  • Tuesday, May 5th - 11:00am-11:30am
  • Wednesday May 6th - 11:00am-11:30am

 

Practice Facilities: All practice facilities/areas will be available starting at 7:00 AM.

 

Food & Beverage Services: Mass Golf will provide a complimentary luncheon between 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Players teeing off after 11:40am are encouraged to take advantage of this luncheon before their round. Additional F&B options will be available (drinks, snacks, alcohol, etc.) for players/caddies/spectators at their own expense – Cash and/or Credit Card will be accepted.  Small breakfast items and coffee are available for players to purchase at their own expense at Joe's Grill near the 1st & 10th tee. Cash/Credit

 

Prizes: Champion plaques will be awarded to Champions, and trophies will be awarded to Net Division Champions. Merchandise certificates will be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site.

 

On-Course Restrooms: Between holes #4 & #5, Joe's Grill (Turn)/Clubhouse, Hole #12 Tee
