EVENT: 48th Georgia Senior Championship

SITE: The Landings Golf & Athletic Club (Oakridge), Savannah

DATE: August 3-6, 2026

FIELD SIZE: 120 player maximum field. At the close of entries, the field will be determined by the low 120 players by handicap index.

FORMAT: 54 holes of individual stroke play.  There will be a cut to the low 60 players and ties after 36 holes.

PRACTICE ROUND:

  • One official practice round per player for a $50 practice round fee paid to the host club.
  • Available two weeks prior to competition. Call XXXXXX to reserve after acceptance confirmation.

CADDIES: Players may provide their own caddie. GSGA’s Cart/Caddie Policy will be in effect (one bag/one butt), either the player or caddie may ride but not both at the same time. 

YARDAGES & TEES: Combination of tee markers and yardages will be used. Practice yardage sheet available after entries close under the Player Information tab on the event portal.

StrackaLine yardage book options are available at a 20% discounted rate.  Order via provided link under the Player Information tab.

GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: Open at 7:00 a.m. each day of competition.

STARTING TIMES: Assigned by GSGA and posted on the event portal starting July 28.

REGISTRATION: No formal on-site registration. Withdrawals must be called or emailed to the Official In Charge listed below.

FOOD SERVICE: Available in clubhouse. Credit cards ONLY.

PRIZES: The Johnny Skeadas perpetual trophy is presented to the overall champion, along with a take home trophy. Gift cards will be presented to the top TBA finishers.

REFUND POLICY:

  • A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries.
  • Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
  • Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling or emailing the Official In Charge listed above.
