76th Massachusetts Women's Stroke Play Championship for the Baker Trophy
Tuesday, June 2nd - Wednesday, June 3rd
The Club at New Seabury
Format: 36-holes stroke play. Competitors will be competing in two separate divisions (Championship & Tournament). In the event of a tie for low-gross in either division, a hole-by-hole play-off will commence immediately following the close of competition (The Club at New Seabury Hole Sequence: 1 & 9). The net competition will be played based on the Thursday, June 25th, 2026 Handicap revision.
Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the Mass Golf Hard Card. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the Championship sites. It is the individual player’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.

Golf Carts & Push Carts: The use of automotive transportation (golf carts) is permitted. Carts are Included in the Championship entry fee. The use of push/pull carts is also permitted. New Seabury offers electronic push cart, sold on a first come first serve basis.
Caddies: Competitors may use a caddie during all rounds of the championship.
Time of Starting:
- Round 1 - (Tuesday, June 2nd) 12:00 PM off the 1st & 10th tees
- Round 2 - (Wednesday, June 3rd) 8:00 AM off the 1st & 10th tees
- Competitors will be repaired based on Rd. 1 scores
Practice Rounds
Dates:
- Tuesday - Thursday After 11AM
- NO PRACTICE ROUNDS AVAILABLE ON MAY 26TH AND MAY 20TH.
Notes:
- Each competitor will be limited to 1 practice round.
- Competitors will be paired up to make foursomes on the day of their practice round.
- Practice rounds will be available for competitors to play (no guests or caddies).
- Players shall play only one golf ball during the practice round.
- Tee times may be made by contacting the golf shop at (508) 539-8322.
Course Set-Up: Approximate yardage for each division:
- Championship Division will play from the White/Green Tee Markers.
- Tournament Division will play from the Green Tee Markers.
- W=White Tee, G= Green Tee

Practice Range: Range will be open at 7:00 a.m. for both rounds.

Bathrooms: On course bathrooms are located near Hole 5+6 and 13+15.
Score Posting: All scores from individual stroke play events (qualifiers & championships proper) will be automatically posted to a player’s Mass Golf/USGA Handicap Index by the Mass Golf staff.
Prizes: The Edith Noblit Baker Trophy will be engraved with the Champion's name. Trophies will be given to the Champion of each division (Gross). Merchandise certificates will be awarded to top 5 finishers in the Championship Division, top 3 finishers in the Tournament Division (Gross AND Net) and are only redeemable at The Club at New Seabury.
