Welcome to Harding Park Golf Club
HPGC is a tournament golf club based at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. The course hosted the 2020 PGA Championship and is consistently ranked among the top municipal courses in the country. Membership is open to all and we run competitive events year round.
The Season
We put on about a dozen tournaments a year across a range of formats. The Pettersson Cup is a four-round stroke play series that stretches across the season, rewarding players who stay consistent and keep showing up. The Directors Cup is a match play bracket from qualifier all the way through to the final. The Club Championship runs 54 holes over three days in October and is the biggest event of the year. The rest of the calendar fills out with stableford, skins, team events, and NCGA qualifiers. We take a trip to Poppy Hills in May, host a Member-Guest in September, and wrap up the year with the Archer Cup in December.
NCGA Team Matches
Every summer HPGC puts together a team to compete in the NCGA Team Matches, a home-and-away series against clubs from across the Bay Area. You're going up against strong programs with players who can play. The matches run through the summer and it's one of the highlights of the year. If you want to represent your club in a competition that means something, this is where you do it. We also qualify members into NCGA individual championships throughout the season.
Membership
Open to everyone. No waitlist, no initiation fee. You get a full season of organized competition on one of the best public courses in the state, and a club full of players who take the game seriously. Members contribute volunteer hours each year to support public golf in San Francisco.
