Championship Details
Date: June 16-18, 2026
Course: Walla Walla Country Club, Walla Walla, WA
Entry Fee: $260
Entry Includes: One hosted practice round, three rounds of competition, tee gift, range balls, lunch following second round play, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.
Entry Deadline: June 2, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
Eligibility (Amateur): Entries are open to female amateur golfers who: (1) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 16.4, and (2) are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club.
Eligibility (Mid-Amateur): Entries are open to female amateur golfers who: (1) meet the below age requirements, (2) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 40.4, and (3) are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club
Age (Amateur): No age requirements.
Age (Mid-Amateur): Players must have reached their twenty-fifth birthday by June 16, 2026.
Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 48 qualified Amateurs and the first 24 qualified Mid-Amateurs. Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.
WA Golf reserves the right to modify either field limit after the entry deadline to achieve a full field of 72 players.
Schedule: 54-hole stroke play (Amateur Competition is gross only. Mid-Amateur has both gross & net competition). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.
Practice Round: All players will be allowed one complimentary practice round prior to the championship. Players may not schedule their practice round until after the entry deadline.
Caddies: A player may provide her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.
Carts (Amateur): The Local Rule prohibiting the use of motorized transportation as prescribed in Section 8 of the Committee Procedures is in effect.
As a general rule, players and their caddies must walk the course at WA Golf Championships. But consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a disabled player or caddie may be permitted to use a golf cart as an accommodation to his or her disability. As required by the ADA, WA Golf will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis. Carts (Mid-Amateur): Players or caddies may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $25 per player, per day. Fees will be collected during registration. (NOTE: The WA Golf “One Seat” Cart Policy is in effect at all WA Golf Championships. The full policy is available online HERE.)
Exempt Players (Amateur): All past Washington Women’s Amateur Champions in addition to the following players: Darae Chung, Kyoungsook Cho, Carly Ikei, Cienna Lee, Amber Li, Suzie Tran, & Niuniu Zhao.
Exempt Players (Mid-Amateur): All past Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Champions in addition to the following players: Kyoungsook Cho, Desirae Clarke, Sue Craven, Youngoak Hwang, Emily Lau, Ellen Liao, Kim Shek, & Mandy Wong.
WA Golf Performance Points (Amateur): Awarded to Champion (100), Runner-up (75), Top-5 (50), Top-10 (25), Top-15 (15), and Top-20 (5) finishers
WA Golf Performance Points (Mid-Amateur): Awarded to Champion (50), Runner-up (25), and Top-5 (5) finishers

Exemptions (Amateur): Champion earns an exemption into the following events:
- 2026 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship held at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tennessee on August 4-9, 2026
- Lifetime exemption into the Washington Women’s Amateur Championship
- 2026 Rosauers Open (Champion must reside in the Pacific Northwest Section)
- 2026 Northwest Open (Champion must reside in the Pacific Northwest Section)
- 2027 Washington Women’s Champion of Champions
- 2027 Washington Open (Champion must reside in the Pacific Northwest Section)
- 2027 Pacific Northwest Women’s Amateur Championship
Exemptions (Mid-Amateur): Champion earns an exemption into the following events:
- Lifetime exemption into the Washington Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship
- 2027 Washington Women’s Champion of Champions
- 2027 Pacific Northwest Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship
Women’s Referral Program: Anyone who played in a WA Golf Women’s Championship in 2024 or 2025 is eligible to receive a $25 rebate by inviting a new player. New players (must not have played in the WA Golf Championship they are registering for in 2024 or 2025) who register will also receive the $25 rebate. New players should indicate the player that referred them during the online registration process. Rebates are limited to one per person, per championship.
All rebates will be issued in the form of a $25 merchandise certificate redeemable in the host club golf shop. Rebates will be distributed during player registration at each championship.
