Championship Details

 

Date: July 3, 2026

Course: The Cedars at Dungeness, Sequim, WA

Entry Fee: $210 per team

 

Entry Includes: One round of competition, tee gift, range balls, crystal awards for top finishers and a merchandise payout.

 

Entry Deadline: June 19, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.

 

Eligibility: Entries are open to sides of amateur golfers who: (1) have a parent-child relationship, (2) have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index issued by a WA Golf member club not exceeding 36.4 for males and 40.4 for females, and (3) are members in good standing of a WA Golf member club.

 

Partners may have more than one generation between them (a grandfather may play with his grandson or granddaughter). Relationship with the child may be natural, adopted or stepchild.

 

Age: No age requirements.

 

Field Limit: Field will be limited to the first 48 qualified sides. Entries will be accepted according to the time of receipt of entry and entry fee in addition to exempt players.

 

Schedule: 18-hole Chapman (gross and net). In the event of a tie, the winner will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.

 

Handicaps: Team handicaps will be determined by combining 60% of the low player’s playing handicap and 40% of the high player’s playing handicap for net scoring.

 

Practice Round: Not included in the entry fee. Players can schedule a non-hosted practice rounds by calling the golf shop at (360) 683-6344 after the close of entries.

 

Caddies: A player may provide his or her own caddie. Host club caddies will not be available.

 

Carts: Players may ride in a golf cart. Cart fees are $40 per team. Fees will be collected during registration. (NOTE: The WA Golf “One Seat” Cart Policy is in effect at all WA Golf Championships. The full policy is available online HERE.) 

 

Exempt Players: Champions of the 2025 Washington Parent-Child, Lincoln and Robby Hipp.

 

Exemptions: Champions earn an exemption into the following event:
