ENTRY DEADLINE
Entry applications, along with the appropriate fee, must be completed or received by WA Golf by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds due to cancellation before the close of entry are subject to a $10 service charge. After the close of entry and up until round one pairings are released, players who withdraw for any reason will be refunded 50% of the entry fee. No refund for any reason will be issued after round one parings have been released.
COURSE YARDAGE
Course yardage is subject to change based on weather/course conditions. Hole-by-hole yardages are posted on the championship portal and will be emailed to players.

Super Senior Women’s Yardage: 5,244 yards, par-74
ONSITE REGISTRATION
All contestants must register in person with WA Golf at Desert Canyon prior to the championship. Registration will be located outside the pro shop during the following times:
MONDAY, JULY 27: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
TUESDAY, JULY 28: 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS
Round one starting times will be released on Tuesday, July 21. Contestants will be re-paired by gross scores for the final round, with the leaders starting last. Preferred starting time requests will not be accepted. Starting times will be posted on the WA Golf website (WAgolf.org), on the Championship Portal and will be emailed to each player.
SCHEDULE
36-hole stroke play (gross & net competition). In the event of a tie for the championship, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held immediately following play to determine the winner.

PRACTICE ROUND
Contestants may play one complimentary practice round prior to the championship. Practice rounds will be available on Sunday, July 26 and Monday, July 27. Local contestants may be able to play a practice round on weekday afternoons in the two weeks prior on a space available basis as determined by the Desert Canyon golf shop staff. All practice round starting times are at the discretion of the golf shop staff. To schedule your practice round, call the golf shop at (509) 784-1111
FOOD SERVICE (NO-HOST)
The Coffee House opens at 6:30 am daily for grab and go breakfast items and drinks. The Oasis Restaurant opens at noon with a full lunch menu
BOTTLED WATER
WA Golf will provide bottled water during the championship. Coolers will be at multiple locations on the golf course. A beverage cart will not be on the course during play.
CONTESTANTS’ LUNCH
WA Golf will provide a $30 food credit that can be used during restaurant hours on Tuesday, July 28 or Wednesday, July 29. The restaurant will have a player list to check off participants. Credit is for a one time use only and cannot be used for multiple purchases. The credit expires on Wednesday after the restaurant closes.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
All major credit cards and cash.
HOURS OF OPERATION
The golf shop will be open from 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. each day.
RANGE BALLS
Range balls will be set up on the range each morning from 6:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Players wishing to use the range following play will need to purchase balls from the golf shop.
CARTS
Carts are mandatory for the championship and all players must ride. (NOTE: The WA Golf “One Seat” Cart Policy is in effect at all WA Golf Championships. The full policy is available online HERE.)
SPECTATOR CARTS
To provide an equal championship platform for all competitors, the use of carts by spectators is not permitted by WA Golf unless approved by WA Golf staff.
CHAMPIONSHIP ACCOMMODATIONS FOR DISABLED SPECTATORS
WA Golf is committed to providing an enjoyable spectator experience for people with disabilities at WA Golf Championships. Requests from spectators seeking transportation onto the golf course due to a permanent disability, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), should be submitted one week in advance to the WA Golf Championship Department. While spectator carts may not always be available at each site, WA Golf will make every effort to accommodate these requests when available. Generally, an ADA covered disability is defined as a “physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more of the major life activities of the individual”. See, 42 USCA §12102. Spectators with a “temporary” injury or impairment that is not an ADA disability will not be allowed use of a golf cart under this Policy.

CADDIES
Host club caddies will not be available. A player may provide her own caddie. Caddies will be required to wear a caddie bib provided on the starting tee.
PRIZES
All prizes will be awarded according to 36-hole scores (gross and net). Trophies and merchandise certificates will be awarded to the Champion, Runner-up and Net Champion in both championships. Ties for the Net Champion crystal will be decided by matching scorecards as described in the Official Guide to the Rules of Golf, page 402.
Awards will be given to any contestant who scores a hole-in-one or eagle during the championship.
AWARDS CEREMONY
An awards ceremony will take place at the contestant’s lunch after play is completed in each championship on Wednesday, July 29.
EXEMPTIONS
Senior Women’s Amateur – Champion will receive an exemption into the 2027 Washington Champion of Champions, the 2027 PNGA Senior Women’s Amateur, and a lifetime exemption into the Washington Senior Women’s Amateur.
Super Senior Women’s Amateur – Champion will receive an exemption into the 2027 Washington Champion of Champions, the 2027 PNGA Super Senior Women’s Amateur, and a lifetime exemption into the Washington Super Senior Women’s Amateur.
PERFORMANCE POINTS LIST
Points for the Washington Senior Women’s Amateur are allocated as follows: Champion (35), Runner-up (20), and Top-5 (5) finishers.
GHIN SCORE POSTING
WA Golf will post competition scores for all players to the USGA GHIN System.
DRESS CODE
Players and caddies must be neat in appearance with respect to personal grooming and clothing while on host club property. The WA Golf Dress Code Policy is available at the following link: wagolf.org/policies and will be provided to all players, along with any additional measures required by the host club, in the Player Memorandum.
CODE OF CONDUCT
WA Golf expects all contestants, caddies, gallery, and guests to exhibit proper conduct and behavior on the golf course and anywhere on club property during a WA Golf Championship. Unbecoming conduct or behavior may be grounds for immediate disqualification, at any time, from any WA Golf event. The following are some examples of unbecoming conduct or behavior:
- Repeated use of loud, abusive, and/or profane language
- Throwing and/or breaking equipment (club, ball, etc.) in anger or frustration
- Damaging host club, WA Golf, and/or fellow contestant property
- Public criticism or verbal abuse of host club, officials, volunteers or staff, and/or WA Golf volunteers, staff or fellow contestants
- Potential endangerment of others
- Intentionally violating stated club policy
- Violation of WA Golf Dress Code and/or Footwear Policy
- Other conduct deemed unbecoming
The Committee in charge of the competition shall be the sole judge of determining Conduct Code violations.
UNOFFICIAL WITHDRAWAL
During play of the championship, a competitor who withdraws must notify WA Golf staff and fill out a withdraw form. Entrants who unofficially withdraw (by not notifying WA Golf staff or without having sufficient reason to withdraw) will not be granted entry into any future WA Golf championship for a minimum of two years.
PACE OF PLAY POLICY
Players are encouraged to be familiar with WA Golf’s Pace of Play Policy, which is in effect at all championships.
LOCAL RULES AND TERMS OF THE COMPETITION
Players are encouraged to be familiar with WA Golf’s 2026 Local Rules and Terms of the Competition, which will be in effect at all championships.
PROHIBITED USE OF AUDIO EQUIPMENT
Rule 4.3 is modified in this way: During a round, a player is not allowed to use an electronic device to listen to music or other audio (such as podcasts or the like), including by using speakers, headphones or earbuds. Penalty for breach of Local Rule - see Rule 4.3.
