GOLF GENIUS – INSTRUCTIONS FOR ENTERING AND VIEWING SCORES
The Golf Genius app is very simple to use and allows you to easily enter scores on each hole as well as look at the results in real-time. Only 1 person is required to enter scores for your group, and this task can be shared by others in your group, either on a single device (phone), or on any phone that has the Golf Genius app on it. We encourage all players to give it a try and become familiar with using it.
Scores can be entered after each hole while playing, or they can all be entered after the round, but you need to make sure that all scores are entered in Genius before you leave the golf course.
Instructions below for entering and viewing scores, and there are screenshots at the end of this document.
- Each group (per tee-time) will be given a unique 6-character GGID for their group.
- Open the Golf Genius app, and choose to use GGID, then enter the GGID for your group. You should then see the names of the players in your group – Tap your name to get started and you will be on hole #1 or hole #10 (whichever is the your starting hole for 9-hole league play).
- Enter the gross score for each player and click on Save Scores when finished. This should bring you to the next hole.
- After entering scores, you can navigate between holes, by scrolling left or right on the hole numbers at the top of the screen.
- If you need to correct a score, you need to click on Clear, then re-enter the score and click on Save Scores when finished.
- When you are finished 9 holes, you can either choose Continue Editing Scores to make changes or Scorecard Summary to view all the scores and complete scoring.
