I started playing the game of golf at the age of 8 and at the age of 14 I was selected for the first time to be a part of Trinidad and Tobago's National Junior Golf Team and at age 16 to be a part of the National Senior Golf Team. Currently this is my fifth year representing my country at a regional level and I intend to further pursue golf whilst in college.

 

 

ISABELLA RAMDEEN

Isabella has been playing golf for the past four years.She is 13yrs of age and is honored to represent her country once more. Isabella hopes to play golf on courses all over the world and  hopes more young golfers from her country do the same.

 

 

TORI DE FREITAS-BAPTISTE

My name is Tori De Freitas-Baptiste and I am 31 years old. I began learning golf at the age of 10 through the Republic Bank Junior Golf Clinic at the Chaguaramas Golf Club. At 14, I entered my first Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association Tournament, the Republic Bank Open which marked the start of my competitive golf journey. In the years that followed, I won several local tournaments including The Agostini Ladies Open C-Class Division and The Svelty Ladies Open B-Class Division. I was also selected as a reserve on both the junior and senior golf teams on several occasions.

Unfortunately, in 2018, I took a five-year hiatus from the sport. In 2023, I returned to competitive golf and represented Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean Golf Association’s 2024 Four Ball Championships where my teammate and I won the 25+ Ladies Division and contributed to the team’s overall runner-up finish.

This year marks my debut representing Trinidad and Tobago at the prestigious Hoerman Cup and I am truly honoured and excited to compete at this level.

Chris Richards Jr.’s golf experience includes:

He is ranked first by both the Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and 208th in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, with a career-high ranking of 69th.

His 2026 achievements include wins at the Currahee Club Invitational, Carey Collegiate, Trinidad & Tobago Open and Underclass Elite Showcase. He also placed seventh at the NAIA Men’s National Championship and fifth at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.

 

 

ETHAN COLLIER

DOB: 16TH JUNE 2010       AGE: 16YRS    SCHOOL: ISPS entering Grade 11
My name is Ethan Collier; I am 16 years old. I have been playing golf for five years (2021).  I have represented Trinidad and Tobago on the Junior National team for the last three years in Jamaica (2024), Puerto Rico (2025) and Dominican Republic (2026) and this year will be my first representing T&T on the Men’s National team in Bahamas (2026). My Interest in golf sparked because of my dad who also started at a young age. I practice as much as I can, and I will continue to do my best.

My name is Liam Bryden, this will be my 9th appearance at the Hoerman cup. My most recent win is the 2025 south open.

I’m looking forward to competing in Bahamas on a course I’ve had success on and as a team I think we are ready to compete for silverware.

ZICO CORREIA

Zico Correia is one of Trinidad & Tobago’s most promising golfers. He has proudly represented since the age of nine, becoming the youngest player ever selected to a national golf team.

As a junior, he won the 2017 and 2018 Caribbean Republic Bank Junior Open, captured the 2019 Clash of the Champions at Trump International Doral, and was nominated for the 2018 First Citizens Junior Sportsman of the Year award.
In 2021, Zico became the youngest-ever winner of the Brechin Castle Open Championship. He followed that milestone by winning the 2022 Trinidad and Tobago Open Championship and runner up in T&T Open in Tobago in 2024, cementing his place among the country's top golfers. He’s represented in numerous regional and international tournaments  
Currently competing for Webber International University, Zico was instrumental in his team in fall 2025 to rise from 32th place to 12th, in May 2026 he placed 5th individually in a major collegiate tournament with a 10-under-par 3 round total, helping the Warriors secure a top-10 team finish in their most recent NAIA tournament.
