41st NWAGA Seniors Championship/49er's Eclectic Tournament

Oakland Golf Club

August 5-7, 2019

The NWAGA Seniors Championship and the 49ers Eclectic Tournament run concurrently. The Seniors Championship is a 54-hole individual stroke play competition. The 49ers Eclectic Tournament is a 36-hole partner competition. Players have the option to register with a partner and play in both events or sign-up as an individual for just the Seniors Championship.

In the Eclectic Tournament each side plays two rounds to determine a single 18-hole score based on the side’s best net score on each hole during the first two rounds of competition. Merchandise prizes will be awarded to the top third in the Eclectic tournament.

The Seniors Championship is comprised of participants in the Eclectic tournament and those that enter as individuals. Following 36-holes, all golfers are flighted for a final round in the Seniors Championship. Each flight consists of approximately 12 players. The overall champion will be awarded a trophy. Flight winners will be presented a medal with merchandise prizes paid out to the top third in each flight.

Included in the entry fee is golf, cart, use of the practice facility prior to play, a player dinner after round one and awards luncheon following round three.

Handicap: Individual Handicap Indexes will be based on the August 1 Handicap Revision (maximum individual handicap index of 40.4). In the eclectic competition each player’s handicap will be determined by multiplying their Course Handicap by 75% (maximum Course handicap of 27). The combined adjusted handicaps of the partners will determine the team’s Team Handicap used for determining round one paring position.

Ties: In case of a tie for the overall champion, the winner will be determined by a hole-by-hole playoff. Ties for first place in flights will be determined by a scorecard playoff. In case of a tie for first in the Eclectic Tournament, merchandise is divided and shared.
