Thank your for your support of the 2026 NYS Men's Amateur Championship! Below are relevant links, contacts, and important information to ensure you are successful in your role as a championship volunteer.

TRAINING  - SUN, JULY 5
The NYSGA will host a club volunteer training seminar at GFCC on Sunday, July 5th. We will distribute volunteer shirts, hats and name badges, and go over each volunteer role. If you are unable to attend in person, we will post a video recording here for you to watch.

UNIFORM

It is preferred that club volunteers wear the provided shirt (or one of a similar color) and hat, and khaki color pants/shorts. All volunteers will receive an identifying badge from the NYSGA when you check-in for your first shift.

CHECK-IN BEFORE EACH SHIFT
Instructions on where to check-in before each shift for each relevant committee.

COMMUNICATIONS
The NYSGA will send daily reminders and important updates (including about the weather) to all volunteers via email and text.
