Please see below for information on this year's Kent Schools' Golf Championships 2026 and please feel free to forward this onto anyone else who you think might be interested in playing.

 

This year’s Kent Schools’ Golf Championships will be kindly hosted by Prince's Golf Club, Sandwich, on Tuesday 28 April 2026.  

 

Entries are welcome from boys and girls who are in receipt of full-time education (other than Higher Education) in the county of Kent, including young people living in Kent, who are in receipt of a prescribed programme of study delivered at home and monitored by a suitable body.  Competitors must have been born after 1 September 2007 and have an official WHS handicap.

 

The Individual Boys and Girls Championships will be played over 18 holes off of scratch.

 

The Team Championship will be a team event with the best 2 scores to count from a team of up to 3 boys, 3 girls or a mixture from the same school.  This will be played off of 95% handicap allowance.  The winners qualify for English Schools’ Team Championship.

 

There will also be handicap events for the following:  U12 Girls, U12 Boys, U16 Girls, U16 Boys.  And an U16 scratch qualifier for the English U16s Golf Championship.

 

Entries are online via Golf Genius only and payment by credit card is required at the time of entry.  The Entry Fee for the event will be £30 per player to include a meal after play and prizes.

Entries will be limited to 40 and will be taken in entry order. Entries will close on 21 April at 1200 or when the event is full.  

 

SOUTHEAST OF ENGLAND SCHOOLS’ CHAMPIONSHIPS

Sussex will be hosting the South East of England Schools’ Championships and these will be held at Cuddington Golf Club on Thursday 28 May.

 

These are open to a limited number of boys and girls, who attend schools in Kent, and players will be nominated/selected to represent the county at this event based on their performances at the Kent Schools’ Championship at Prince's.  Players may then be nominated/invited to enter the English National Schools’ Championships.
