Welcome to the 2026 Traveling Match Play
Match Play is the second most popular form of competition in golf, after Stroke play. If you have never played it, it is a really fun alternative to stroke play and something you certainly should try.

Registration deadline is April 14, 2026, at 11:59pm
- Must have a handicap
- Matches to be played at you & your opponent's schedule anytime from April 15th to October 31st
- Rounds will receive 1 point for win, 1/2 point for tie and 0 points for loss
- Both players will receive 0 points for rounds not played
- The two competitors decide when and where to play their match.
- Registrants should sign up as soon as possible but no later than April 14th.
- Rounds may be scored in golf genius if the captain is notified of players, course and tees by the day before the match; Otherwise, GHIN match play (net) or scorecard must be provided to the captain
