Format:
- 18 holes of Florida Scramble format (also known as Step Aside)
- Maximum Score of 10 per hole is in effect
- Each player plays from the teeing area on each hole, one of the tee shots is selected and all the players EXCEPT the player whose shot is selected, play their second shots from that spot. One of the second shots is then selected, and all players EXCEPT the player whose shot is selected, play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.

Handicaps:
25% lower handicap/20%/15%/10% higher handicap for team handicap
Tees: Women will be playing from Mass Golf RED tee markers from ~5,000 yards
Men will play from the Mass Golf BLUE tee markers from ~6,000 yards
Starting Time: 8:30 a.m. Shotgun Start
Scorecards: Paper scorecards will be provided to all participants for the player’s own notes. All paper scorecards are considered UNOFFICIAL. The official scorecard will be the mobile Golf Genius app scoring. Prior to the tournament, players should download the Golf Genius app. Click HERE for mobile scoring instructions. You will be provided a GGID number on your scorecards and that is the number you type into the app to see your foursome and enter scores.
Practice Areas: The driving range, chipping area and putting green will be available.
Pace of Play: Pace for this round is 4 hours and 30 minutes. Please ensure that you are keeping within a hole of the group in front of you.
Scoring: At the end of the round all scores must be verified by the team before your team’s designated app scorekeeper and unofficial written scorekeeper reports to the scoring tent. Mass Golf staff will verify with the designated scorekeepers that their scores are accurate and will take a verbal yes as a confirmation/signature.
Awards: The Family Scramble has a permanent trophy to be photographed with the gross winners. All ties will be decided by a matching of cards in accordance with USGA® recommended method. Prize Certificates (gross & net places) will be given out and must be redeemed at Twin Hills Country Club.
Rules of Golf: The USGA® Rules of Golf, Local Rules and Terms of Competitions for Mass Golf Tournaments govern all play.
Mass Golf Policies & Procedures: Please refer to Policies & Procedures and Pace of Play Policy.
Distance-Measuring Devices: Permitted as specified in Mass Golf Policies & Procedures.
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are located in the clubhouse, as well as the 2nd, 6th,13th, and 16th holes.
Food and Beverage: There will be a buffet lunch available after the round. There will also be a beverage cart available throughout the round that accepts CASH ONLY.
Lunch will include:
- Pulled pork & BBQ beef brisket served with coleslaw, seasoned roasted red potatoes, fresh baked corn bread, and cookies.
Additional Information: Practice rounds are available (Monday through Wednesday) rate is $40 including a cart on a space available basis. Tee times must be made by calling the Pro Shop directly at (508)-865-2111 and provide your name.
DECISIONS BY THE COMMITTEE IN ATTENDANCE ARE FINAL.
