Central Links Golf, on behalf of the USGA, would like to welcome you to the 2026 U.S. Amateur Local Qualifier at Firekeeper.

 

General Information

 

  1. Event Description:  18-holes stroke play qualifying

 

  1. Dress Code: The USGA dress code will be enforced in addition to any club dress code not provided for in our policy.  Players and caddies are expected to wear shirts with collars and shorts or pants (no denim allowed)

 

  1. Field:  84 players

  1. Practice Rounds: The fee for the practice round is $60 with a cart after 12:00pm on Sunday, June 14thor $45 with a cart on Monday, June 15th. Practice rounds played any other day will be at the regular rate. Please call the golf shop at 785-966-2100 to arrange your time.

 

  1. Hotel Information: A special room rate of $109 per night is available at the Prairie Band Casino and Resort. Call the sales office at 785-966-7742 and mention that you’re playing in the qualifier to book your room.

 

  1. Course Setup: An estimation of the yardage is attached.       

 

  1. Food and Beverage: Food and beverage service will be available for purchase on site the day of the qualifier.  

 

  1. Practice Range: The practice range shall be made available one hour prior to the first starting time.

 

  1. Caddies: Caddies are permitted for U.S. Amateur Local qualifying.  

 

  1. Playoff: In the event of a tie for any qualifying position or any alternate position, a sudden death (hole by hole) playoff will commence immediately following the completion of play at a hole to be determined by the committee. Announcements regarding playoffs will be made at the main scoreboard area.  

 

  1. Pace of Play: For U.S. Amateur Local Qualifying the committee will use the CLG pace of play policy. For additional information see Pace of Play tab.
