General Information

 

1. Event Description:  18-holes of stroke play qualifying

 

2. Dress Code: The USGA dress code will be enforced in addition to any club dress not provided for in our policy. Players and caddies are expected to wear shirts with collars and shorts or trousers (no denim allowed).

 

3. Field:  48 Players (2 players will qualify. We will also identify a 1st and 2nd alternate.)

 

4. Starting Schedule:  Play will be off the 1^st tee and will begin at 8:00 am.

7. Practice Rounds: Practice arounds are available at a rate of $50 plus tax (cart included). Please call the golf shop at 913-764-4563 to arrange your practice round. We ask that local players try to avoid playing on Sunday, July 26, to allow for out-of-town players to play that day.

 

8. Golf Carts: The USGA uses a “one-seat” policy for this qualifier. The player or the caddie may ride, but not at the same time. Each group of three players will be allowed a maximum of two carts.

 

9. Course Setup: See course yardage tab

 

10. Practice Range: The practice range will available one hour prior to the first starting time.

 

11. Playoff: In the event of a tie for any qualifying position or any alternate position, a sudden death (hole by hole) playoff will commence immediately following the completion of play at a hole to be determined by the committee. Announcements regarding playoffs will be made at the main scoreboard area.  

 

12. Pace of Play: For USGA Qualifying the committee will institute the USGA pace of play policy.
