We're excited to announce our Women's Golf 101 Clinic, hosted by LPGA Teaching Professional Erika "Birdie" Shavers (Swing Easy Golf LLC)!

This event is designed for New Golfers and Advanced Beginners. (See the chapter website for a description of skill levels.)
💡 New members are especially encouraged to attend! It’s a great way to meet other members and get involved.

Once a private country club in the early 1900’s, South Shore Golf Course is situated entirely on land that sits on the shores of Lake Michigan, offering panoramic views of the lake, and a par 33 golf course that entails tall mature trees and tight greens protected by tucked in sand traps.

About Erika "Birdie" Shavers LPGA Teaching Professional
Erika "Birdie" Shavers is an LPGA Class A Teaching Professional, Director of Community Outreach for First Tee – Greater Chicago, and 2025 inductee into the African American Golfers Hall of Fame. Her inspiring journey has been featured in books, magazines, and on national television. Erika is a co-author of A Purpose Driven Woman: 14 Memoirs on Becoming Fearless & Intentional. She enjoys working with students of all ages and loves bringing joy to others through the game of golf. |

We opened early registration at our Kickoff Event, and only 2 spots remain.
