MALE players will play from the XXXX club tees and FEMALE players will play from the XXXX club tees.

Rules of Golf - The Golf Canada Rules of Golf will govern all competition, except for those specialized Scramble Rules in place for the PGA Scramble presented by BMW.

PGA Scramble presented by BMW Format – This event will be operated under the standard Scramble Format.  All team members may play from the teeing area of each hole.  The team then chooses the shot that gives them the best chance for the next shot and all players play the next stroke from that spot.  This process continues until the ball is on the green.  For all Local Qualifiers, each player will attempt the first putt, and if it is not made, the next putt is conceded for a maximum of two (2) putts per hole.

Three Tee Shots – A minimum of three (3) tee shots per team member must be used per eighteen (18) hole round.  With electronic scoring, it will not be required to note the drives on the scorecard, however, this rule must still be followed and team captains may be asked to verify whose tee shots were used on each hole.

Selected Shot - If the selected shot is in the general area (anywhere on the course, except any penalty area, bunker, teeing area or putting green of the hole being played), the ball must be placed within one (1) club length of the selected shot, no nearer the hole, and must remain in the general area. 

If the selected ball is in a penalty area the next shot must be played from the penalty area, or from outside the penalty area per the applicable Rule under penalty of one-stroke (unless additional penalties apply).  If the selected ball is in a bunker the next shot must be played from the bunker, or from outside the bunker per the applicable Rule under penalty of one-stroke (unless additional penalties apply).

A ball that is not on the putting green of the hole being played, may not be placed on the putting green, even if it is within one club-length of the marked ball.

On the putting green, each ball must be placed played from within one putter head of the marked position.

Restricted Area for Partners Before Player Makes Stroke – Rule 10.2b(4) is NOT in effect during the PGA Scramble presented by BMW.  Players may deliberately stand on or close to an extension of the line of play behind the ball (that is, the "restricted area") of their team member.

Scorecard – Scoring will be done electronically.  Each team captain will be required to download the Golf Genius App and will be provided with the GGID to log in prior to the start of the Local Qualifier.  Before the Local Qualifier, each team must verify that their Handicap Indexes are correct as of the entry closing date.  During the round, the team captain should post scores upon completion of each hole.  The team captain will have five minutes from the time of submission to correct a wrong score with the host club. 

As per the World Handicap System, the team’s Playing Handicap will consist of 25% of the lowest player’s Course Handicap, 20% of the second-lowest, 15% of the third-lowest, and 10% of the highest player’s Course Handicap. Each team's playing handicap will be adjusted by 75% (e.g., a team playing handicap of 10 will be adjusted to 7.5).  This Playing Handicap will be subtracted from the gross score to determine the net score.  Signing for a lower score than actually made will lead to automatic disqualification from the event under Rule 3.3b(3).

Format du Scramble PGA présenté par BMW - Cet événement se déroulera selon le format standard du Scramble.  Tous les membres de l'équipe peuvent jouer à partir de l'aire de départ de chaque trou.  L'équipe choisit ensuite le coup qui lui donne la meilleure chance pour le coup suivant et tous les joueurs jouent le coup suivant à partir de cet endroit.  Ce processus se poursuit jusqu'à ce que la balle soit sur le vert.  Pour tous les tournois qualificatifs locaux, chaque joueur tentera le premier roulé, et s'il ne le réussit pas, le roulé suivant sera concédé pour un maximum de deux (2) roulés par trou.

Trois coups de départ - Un minimum de trois (3) coups de départ par membre de l'équipe doit être utilisé par ronde de dix-huit (18) trous.  Avec le système de pointage électronique, il ne sera pas nécessaire de noter les coups de départ sur la carte de pointage, mais cette règle doit être respectée et il pourra être demandé aux capitaines d'équipe de vérifier quels coups de départ ont été utilisés sur chaque trou.

Coup sélectionné - Si le coup sélectionné se trouve dans la zone générale (n'importe où sur le parcours, à l'exception de toute zone à pénalité, fosse de sable, aire de départ ou vert du trou joué), la balle doit être placée à moins d'une (1) longueur de bâton du coup sélectionné, pas plus près du trou, et doit rester dans la zone générale.

Si la balle sélectionnée est dans une zone à pénalité, le coup suivant doit être joué depuis la zone à pénalité ou depuis l'extérieur de la zone à pénalité selon la Règle applicable avec une pénalité d'un coup (à moins que des pénalités supplémentaires ne s'appliquent).  Si la balle sélectionnée est dans une fosse de sable, le coup suivant doit être joué de la fosse de sable, ou de l'extérieur de la fosse
