EVENT: 7th Georgia Adaptive Open
SITE: The Frog Golf Club
DATE: September 17-19, 2026 (**Practice Round - September 16)
FIELD SIZE: 60 players. All exempt players (list under Player Information tab on event portal) to register will receive immediate entry into the field. All other entries will be placed on a pending list until the entry deadline. Striving for the goal of inclusivity, the GSGA will accept entries equally across all Impairment Categories amongst those who have registered. Secondarily, the GSGA selection process will take WR4GD Rankings, USAGA Rankings and Handicap Index into effect in determining the field.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to players with an active World Handicap System Index and a WR4GD Pass. This is a WR4GD Counting Event.
FORMAT: 54 holes of individual stroke play. All players will be considered for Overall Champion regardless of tees played.
DIVISIONS/FLIGHTS: Divisions and flights based upon both USAGA Sport Classes and U.S. Adaptive Open Impairment Categories. Players will compete within both their Sport Class and Impairment Category during the championship.
PRACTICE ROUND: One practice round per player is INCLUDED in the entry fee. Practice rounds will be available the afternoon of Wednesday, September 16, and will be scheduled by GSGA. Please do NOT contact The Frog Golf Club to schedule a practice round.
CADDIES/PLAYER AIDES: Players are responsible for planning for a caddie and/or player aide should they choose to use one. A limited number of caddies and/or player aides can be made available by the GSGA upon advanced request. Players may ride in a cart along with their caddie/player aide or walk. Caddie/player aide requests may be made by emailing the Official In Charge listed above.
YARDAGES & TEES: Combination of tee markers and yardages will be used. Practice yardage sheet available after entries close under the Player Information tab on the event portal.
StrackaLine yardage book options are available at a 20% discounted rate. Order via provided link under the Player Information tab.
GOLF SHOP & DRIVING RANGE: Open at 7:15 a.m. each day of competition.
STARTING TIMES: Assigned by GSGA and posted on the event portal starting September 1.
REGISTRATION: Formal registration will be held at The Frog Golf Club on Wednesday, September 16. Additional details will be communicated with the field following the close of entries.
FOOD SERVICE: Various meals will be provided throughout the event. Player refreshment areas will be provided on the golf course during all rounds as well.
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to the Overall, Women's, and Seated divisions for net and gross. The top finisher in each Sport Class AND Impairment Category will also be awarded.
REFUND POLICY:
- A $30 service charge will be retained by the GSGA on all refunds granted prior to the close of entries.
- Entry fees will not be refunded after entries close unless there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
- Withdraws after the close of entries must be made by calling or emailing the Official In Charge listed above.
