2026 Season Opener

It's been a long winter, and we are ready to tee-off our 2026 Milwaukee Chapter season! Both members and non-members/guest are welcome.

When: Saturday, May 2, 2026

Start Time: 11am shotgun start (registration begins at 10am)

Scramble format

Where: Ironwood Golf Course

W270N6166 Moraine Dr #3332

Sussex, WI, 53089

Cost: $80 for members; $90 for non-members/guests

We encourage you to invite new or interested LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Milwaukee Chapter members! All skill levels welcome!

Cost includes:

  • Cart and access to range with a bucket of balls
  • Bunzel's BBQ grill lunch (brat, pulled pork, chicken), dessert, bottle of water; get food before your round or at the turn
  • Team prizes and hole prizes (longest drive, closest to pin & longest putt)

During sign up you can include the names of other ladies that you'd like to be part of your team (please identify your cart-mate in your list). You don't need to fill a foursome or even have other names to include. A foursome team will be created for you with ladies that register without a full team. This is a chance to meet other golfers. Again all skill levels are welcome.

After golf, prizes will be awarded. We'll have taco dip/chips and any leftover lunch and/or desserts available.

Cash bar and any drink cart purchases are at attendee's cost.

Registration closes on April 26th @ 11pm so we can provide our final count to Ironwood. We will not be able to accommodate late registrations or walk-ins.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ!

  1. Weather Policy: If the course is open, you are expected to play. Only the course is able to decide if they will close the course due to weather. In the event the course will not allow carts you may need to walk, or we will do our best to work with the course to see if the course can issue you a golf pass for a future date. We would likely still have our food and social event even if it rains. We will not reschedule the event. We will not be issuing you a refund due to inclement weather.

*Notes:

  • Scramble format -- all team members hit their own ball, team determines best ball position, all team members hit their ball from that common location. Process continues until a ball is in the hole. Scoring is number of strokes to the hole.
  • Shotgun start -- each team will start on a hole (might be 2 teams per hole to start, "A" and "B") throughout the course and all "A" teams will start at the same time. "B" teams start once "A" has cleared the hole. Teams should finish around the same time.
