Welcome to the 102nd Western Junior Championship

This website will contain both information for players in the field and those following along at home.

The Western Junior, the oldest national junior tournament in the United States, draws the top junior players from more than 40 states and internationally each year. The event has long been a testing ground for stars of the future, including current PGA TOUR stars Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Hunter Mahan and Rickie Fowler, and veterans Fred Couples, Craig Stadler and Corey Pavin.

Rich Harvest Farms – the home of the 2019 Western Junior Championship – started as a small six-hole course in 1986. Today, it’s a polished 18-hole test capable of challenging the best amateur golfers in the world. Ranked No. 94 on the Golf Digest list of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses, Rich Harvest Farms has hosted a number of professional and amateur events, including the 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s National Championships, the 2015 Western Amateur and the 2003 Western Junior.

The uniqueness of Rich Harvest Farms lies in its flexibility. With multiple tee boxes that enable the course to stretch as long as 7,700 yards. Each hole has the potential to play a different way each day, and players will need to adjust their strategy during the week.
