Player Information Sheet
Schedule of Play/Format:
- 36-holes, Four-Ball Stroke Play. Super Senior Division for competitors ages 65+. Super Senior Division competitors will also be competing for the overall Championship and will play from the same tees.
- In the event of a tie for first place, a hole-by-hole playoff will commence immediately following the completion of play at Indian Ridge Country Club
Rules of Play: The 2023 Rules of Golf are in effect and are supplemented by the MASS GOLF HARD CARD. The Committee will provide any additional Local Rules needed at the Championship site. It is the team’s responsibility to know the Terms of the Competition.
Policies & Procedures: Please refer to the Mass Golf POLICIES & PROCEDURES.
Golf Carts, Caddies, & Push/Pull Carts: Golf carts are permitted for the Championship proper and were included in the entry fee. The use of caddies, and push/pull carts is also permitted.
Starting Times: Can be found on the MASSACHUSETTS SENIOR FOUR-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP home page. Please make sure to be at your starting tee at least 10 minutes prior to your starting time to ensure that all proper instructions are received from the starter.
- For players planning on using the range a Tedesco CC, please prepare to drive your golf cart to the range with your partner and give yourself at least 10 minutes to drive back to 1st or 10th tee for your starting time.
STARTING TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON PLAYER WITHDRAWALS
Tees/ Approximate Yardage: Approximate yardage for the Championship Proper will be approximately 6,200 yards for both courses.

Practice Round Information: Discounted practice rounds will be available to all competitors at both courses at the discretion of the host club based on their availability. Please read carefully below.
Tedesco Country Club Practice Rounds
- Availability:
- Monday 4/27: anytime after 10:00am
- Tuesday 5/12: between 2:00-3:00pm
- Thursday 5/7: between 1:00-3:00pm
- Tuesday 5/5: between 1:00-3:00pm
- Thursday 4/30: anytime after 10:00am
- Tuesday 4/28: anytime after 10:00am
- Call the pro-shop 781-476-2230 to secure a tee time
- There will be a $50 mandatory cart/trail fee per player.
- Competitors will be limited to one practice round and may be paired up with other Senior Four-Ball Championship competitors.
- Only one ball may be played per competitor during their practice round.

- There will be a $50 mandatory cart/trail fee per player.
- Competitors will be limited to one practice round and may be paired up with other Senior Four-Ball Championship competitors.
- Only one ball may be played per competitor during their practice round.
Tedesco CC & Indian Ridge CC Practice Facilities: Practice facilities at both courses will be open at 6:30am.
- Indian Ridge driving range will be irons only
Food & Beverage Services: Mass Golf will provide a complimentary luncheon during Round 1 & Round 2 of the Championship proper at both courses. Additional F&B items will be available (Drinks, snacks, alcohol, etc.) for players/caddies/spectators at their own expense –a small complimentary breakfast will be available at Tedesco only.
Prizes: The James Shea Memorial Trophy and Super Senior Division Trophy will be presented to the Champions. Merchandise certificates will also be awarded and are only redeemable at the host site.
