About SCGA Member Outings
SCGA Member Outings offer members of all skill levels access and opportunities to experience golf in a non-competitive setting at premier destinations throughout Southern California and abroad. Sign up with friends or join as a single, and we’ll handle the rest! Open to all participants with a valid SCGA Membership. A Golf Genius user profile is required during registration. Set one up here if this is your first outing with us.

Escape to one of the world’s most breathtaking golf destinations and enjoy a week that blends championship golf, luxury accommodations, and the unmatched beauty of Maui. Join fellow SCGA members for an unforgettable journey to Kapalua and Wailea, where every round is framed by dramatic ocean views, rolling fairways, and the spirit of aloha. During your stay, members of the Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) will also be in residence, creating a unique opportunity to share in a broader California golf community experience.
Registration Opens: Monday, May 18, 2026, at 8 a.m.
Registration Closes: Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. or until sold out
Field Size: 64 golfers
GOLF
- The Plantation Course (two rounds)
- Wailea Gold Course (~70 minutes away)
- Wailea Emerald Course (~70 minutes away)
Range balls and shared carts included for all rounds. Please indicate any pairing requests during registration. Starting times and pairings will be posted on scga.org and emailed to participants after entries close.
LODGING
Enjoy five nights along Maui’s stunning northwest coastline at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua in the Deluxe View room block. Additional nights may be reserved at the group rate, based on availability. Room upgrades may also be available for an additional cost.
MEALS
A welcome reception will be held on the evening of arrival, along with a farewell dinner reception on the final evening. Other meals are not included. Dining reservations may be made directly with the resort.
PACKAGES
Each package includes:
- Five nights of lodging (inclusive of all taxes and resort fees)
- Four rounds of golf
- Welcome reception and farewell dinner
- Souvenir gift
Choose from the following options:
- Double Occupancy (two golfers) = $3,625 per person
- Single Occupancy (one golfer) = $5,000
- Double Occupancy (one golfer, one non-golfer) = $5,345
Non-golfers included in Package C may attend hosted receptions and enjoy full resort accommodations.
Reservations are based on lodging availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit two like packages per transaction (i.e. A+A, B+B, but not A+B). Your credit card will not be charged until your registration is confirmed.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Participants are responsible for their own transportation. Recommended airports:
- Kahului Airport (OGG) – approximately 35 miles
- Kapalua Airport (JHM) – approximately 3 miles
The Ritz-Carlton does not offer an airport shuttle. Daily valet parking for one vehicle per room is included.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Because we commit to resorts and vendors well in advance, our policy helps us manage these obligations fairly and consistently. To cancel or modify your registration for any reason prior to the start of an SCGA Member Outing, participants must notify the SCGA at champs@scga.org or by calling (818) 980-3630.
- Cancellation Deadline: June 7, 2026
- Cancellations on or after the deadline are non-refundable unless the vacated spot(s) can be filled from the waitlist.
- All cancellations, including those made before the deadline, are subject to a 10% processing fee, regardless of whether the spot(s) are resold.
- Substitutions: If you wish to transfer your spot to another player, substitutions are allowed at no additional fee, provided the replacement meets all eligibility requirements. Please notify the SCGA in advance to confirm the change.
