The 16th Annual OGCC Junior Invitational is a 36-hole stroke play junior competition hosted by Onondaga Golf and Country Club on Sunday, September 13th. The entry fee is $100 and the field is limited to 69 junior golfers (51 boys & 18 girls).

Both divisions are full. Entries remain open and are being added to the waitlist — see the Waitlist section below for how it works and who's currently on it.

Junior golfers must register online before they can be approved. Those who did not receive an invitation via email are encouraged to apply and submit a player resume so the OGCC Junior Committee can review their recent tournament history.

This year's competition is ranked by both Junior Golf Scoreboard and Team New York. The winner of the boys and girls divisions earn an exemption into the 2027 NYS Junior 18U Amateur Championship. Click here to learn more.

1. Create an Account in Golf Genius: All players must have an account in Golf Genius.
2. Register for the 2026 OGCC Junior Invitational: All players, invited and applying, must submit an entry online. The entry fee of $100 will only be charged if a player's entry is approved by the Tournament Committee. 

3. Approved Players: If a player's entry is approved by the Tournament Committee, their entry is complete and will receive an email confirmation with additional information.

4. Resume for Players Not Approved: If a player is not initially approved by the Tournament Committee, they are asked to complete a player resume detailing their tournament history. The resume will be reviewed and either approved or placed on a waitlist ordered by the strength of their playing ability.

5. Entry Deadline: Entries must be received no later than 12PM EDT on Friday, September 4, 2026.
 

WAITLIST

Both divisions have reached capacity. Entries are still being accepted, and players who enter now are added to the waitlist below.

  • How the order is set. Invited players who register are added in the order their entries are received — first come, first served. Players who were not invited are ranked by the strength of their playing resume, and those placements are not finalized until entries close on September 4th.
  • Staying on the waitlist is a commitment to play. If a spot opens and you are the next player on the list, your entry will be approved and you will be notified by email — we will not be calling or emailing to ask whether you're still available. Please only remain on the waitlist if you are prepared to compete on Sunday, September 13th. 
  • Email ogccjunior@gmail.com to be removed from the waitlist.
