ABOUT THE JUNIOR
The 16th Annual OGCC Junior Invitational is a 36-hole stroke play junior competition hosted by Onondaga Golf and Country Club on Sunday, September 13th. The entry fee is $100 and the field is limited to 69 junior golfers (51 boys & 18 girls).
- Invitations will be sent monthly, with the first batch scheduled to be emailed to parents/players on June 2nd.
- Registration will open on June 2nd at 12:00pm.
This year's Invitation is ranked by both Junior Golf Scoreboard and Team New York. The winner of the boys and girls divisions will earn an exemption to compete in the 2027 NYS Junior 18U Amateur Championship.
Junior golfers must register online before they can be approved. Those who did not receive an invitation via email are encouraged to apply and submit a player resume so the OGCC Junior Committee can review their recent tournament history.
APPLY TO PLAY
1. Create an Account in Golf Genius: All players must have an account in Golf Genius.
2. Register for the 2026 OGCC Junior Invitational: All players, invited and applying, must submit an entry online. The entry fee of $100 will only be charged if a player's entry is approved by the Tournament Committee.
3. Approved Players: If a player's entry is approved by the Tournament Committee, their entry is complete and will receive an email confirmation with additional information.
4. Resume for Players Not Approved: If a player is not initially approved by the Tournament Committee, they are asked to complete a player resume detailing their tournament history. The resume will be reviewed and either approved or placed on a waitlist ordered by the strength of their playing ability.
5. Entry Deadline: Entries must be received no later than 12PM EDT on Friday, September 4, 2026.
