2026 GAP Out Door Country Club Doubles Golf Qualifier Event Overview

Format: Two-player Scramble. Each player on the team hits from the teeing ground, then the team chooses the best of the shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location, and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed.
Registration Fee: $200 per team
Eligibility: Open to all male and female amateur members of GAP Member Clubs and non-member players. All players must be 25 years of age or older. One player from each team must be a GAP Member.
Field: Limited to the first 40 teams registered. Men's and Mixed Categories, with each category will be originally limited to 20 teams with the possibility of changing the size after registration opens to meet demand.
7/24/26 9:00 AM Update: Divisions are being altered as sign ups come in. The current allotment is for 27 Men's teams and 13 Mixed Teams.
Pairings: Foursomes. Players may request to be paired with other members.
Start Times: 1 p.m. Shotgun Start.
Tees: In coordination with Doubles Golf ® Course Yardage Guidelines, men will play the White tee (6,311 yards) and women will play the Green tee (5,280 yards).
Cart/Caddie: Automotive transportation is required for this event and included in your registration fee.
Prizes: Amateurs will receive gift certificates good for merchandise at host facility. Winners will be granted entry into the 2026 Doubles Golf National Championship at The Bear's Club in Jupiter, Florida on October 25-27.
GAP will provide a $500 Travel Credit for each winning team that advances to the National Championship
Ties: All ties, including first place, to be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method.
Lunch: Each competitor receives lunch as part of the registration fee.
