2019 Golfweek International Junior Invitational

Orlando, Florida
Eligibility requirements: Any invited junior golfer age 13-19 at the start of the event and is not affiliated with a college golf program.
Format: 36 holes stroke play.
Divisions: Boys and Girls
Tees: Boys play approximately 7,000 yards; Girls play approximately 6,000 yards.
Conditions of play: USGA Rules of Golf shall be in effect.
Entry Fee: $295
Tournament registration includes: Two rounds of tournament golf, participation gifts, complimentary lunch Saturday, tournament prizes.
Entry Deadline: 5 p.m. Friday, October 25 or until field is full.
Entry Requirements: Registration is open exclusively to players who have received direct invitations from Golfweek via email. Any player who registers is subject to review by the Tournament Selection Committee. Any non-invited player who registers and does not pass the review process will be deleted from the event with full refund processed.
National Rankings: Golfweek/Sagarin, Junior Golf Scoreboard
AJGA Status: AJGA has granted the following PBE status for the event -
Boys and Girls Champions: 12 Stars
Boys top 5 and Girls top 3: 8 Stars
Boys top 10 and Girls top 5: 4 Stars
Boys top 15 and Girls top 10: 1 Star
Schedule of Events:
Friday, Nov. 1
Optional Practice Round (not included in entry fee). Practice rounds can be booked by phoning ChampionsGate at 407-390-6664. Cost is $70 plus tax.
4 – 6 p.m.: Non-Mandatory Player Registration at the course.
Saturday, Nov. 2
8:30 a.m.: Round 1 – Boys Tee times start off Nos. 1 and 10 on the International Course. 8:30 a.m.: Round 1 – Girls Tee times start off No. 1 on the National Course.
1:00 -3:00 p.m. – Complimentary lunch for all players.
Sunday, Nov. 3
8:00 a.m.: Round 2 – Boys Tee times start off Nos. 1 and 10 on International Course. 8:00 a.m.: Round 2 – Girls Tee times star off No. 1 on the National Course.
3 p.m.: Presentation of awards following round

About the Golfweek Junior Invitational: The Golfweek Junior Tournamebnt Series is now in its 19h year, and the International Junior Invitational is being played for the 18th time. Before 2014, the event was previously known as the Golfweek East Coast Junior Invitational. Each year, the Golfweek Junior Invitational has ranked consistently among the top 20 junior tournaments in regard to strength of field.

Cancellation and refund policy: Any player who wishes to cancel from the event, must notify Tournament Director Carlton Reese via email, creese@golfweek.com. Players who cancel before October 4, 2019 will receive a full refund less a $15 processing fee. Cancellations that take place from October 5, 2019 to October 18, 2019 will receive a full refund less a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations that take place after October 18, 2019n will result in no refund.
*Please note: Refunds cannot be processed unless a player cancels via email contact with Carlton Reese, creese@golfweek.com. Players who cancel directly through the tournament web site are cleared from the portal and have no means of refund.
