PCC Summer/Fall Cradle Club 2026

 

  • Open to Pinehurst Country Club Golf Members:
    • Premier and Signature: $100 League Fee 
    • Sport Members: $150 League Fee

 

  • MUST HAVE ACTIVE GHIN HANDICAP​​​​​​​​​​​​​

 

  • Individual stroke play (Stableford points scoring system)
    • 0pts - D. BOGEY+ | 1pt – BOGEY | 2pts – PAR | 3pts – BIRDIE | 5pts - ACE
  • Mixed flights by low 12 month index as of August 6th (10 per flight)
  • Payouts - All payouts will be creditbook    
    • The following applies to each flight:
      • Top 4 places payout each week: $20 (1st), $15 (2nd), $9 (3rd), $6 (4th)
      • There is NO tie breaking, all ties will be retained and purses will be split, including the bonuses shown below.
      • Ringer: $50 bonus (lowest cumulative score to par across entire season)
      • 1st half of season leader: $50 bonus (total 4 highest scores of weeks 1-5)
      • 2nd half of season  leader: $50 bonus (total 4 highest scores of weeks 6-10)
      • Overall leader: $100 bonus (total of 8 highest scores out of all 10 weeks)
  • Optional Hole-In-One pot w/ rollover ($50 for season charged to member account), you must have opted out prior to the season beginning. NO CASH.

  • Two special formats during the season (one in each half of the season (weeks 3 & 8) – Stableford point values doubled during these weeks)
    • These two weeks are the ONLY weeks that can be "made up" if missed
      • If a week is "made up", Stableford points will count, but you will not be eligible for the week's payout.
    • Week 3: You must tee off on each hole with a different club. Once you use that club to tee off, you are no longer permitted to use it on another hole's teeing ground. However, you are able to use this club on other areas of the course. You must use a different lofted club one each hole (i.e. you CAN'T use 5 different pitching wedges). 
    • Week 8: ONE CLUB + Putter - you must only use one club and a putter throughout the round. Please identify the club used on your scorecard.

 

  • If you do not play at least 5 weeks you will be banned from Cradle Club.  With such high demand, we don't want non-participating members to register and take a spot.  You may withdraw from the league at the end of week 2 and avoid the ban.  You will still be charged.

 

When:

  • 10 week long season (must play in 8 out of 10 weeks to qualify for overall prize)
    • Starts August 7th
    • Ends October 15th
  • Block of times set aside on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to book your own time.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
    • See Tee Time Registration -> Tee Time Blocks for set times.
  • Can play any day/time of week from Saturday at noon to Friday at 9:00am, NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • You do not have to play in scheduled block of times, but you do have to play with another league member and have them sign your scorecard.
  • Tee times for the next week will automatically open the Friday prior at 9:00am.

 

  • SCORECARD PROCEDURE:
    • In order to ensure scores are properly recorded, you will need to pickup the scorecard with your name on it from the Cradle Starter each week. Please do not use a regular Cradle scorecard.
  • Scorecards must be signed and attested by league members.
  • Players can play with anyone in the league, does not have to be same flight.
