LOTTERY ENTRY: Teams will be selected by random lottery via Golf Genius. Players must register a team, no single entrants. All entries will be pending. Registrations will open on February 27th and close on March 13th, and players be notified of their status on March 16th. Members who do not gain entry via the lottery will placed on the waitlist (Order of waitlist determined by same lottery).
******** Teams under the following criteria will be automatically exempt:
2025 Overall Low Gross (must register with same team to qualify)
2025 Overall Low Net (must register with same team to qualify)
ELIGIBILITY: Open to PCC Golf members only - Classic, Premiere, Signature (Golf/Cart fees may apply based on membership). All entrants must be 15 years of age or older. Both players must be members of PCC.
ENTRY FEE: $250 per team
FIELD SIZE: 108 Players
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Friday, April 9th 5:00 PM - 6:30PM - Cradle Reception
Saturday, April 10th 8:30 AM - Shotgun Start – No. 5
Sunday, April 11th 8:30 AM - Shotgun Start – No. 4 (Awards Luncheon following play)
FORMAT: Four ball (better ball of pair), stroke play. There are Gross and Net competitions for Overall, White Tee division, and Green Tee division.
Green Tee Flight (age 65 & up): Both players on the team must play from the Green Tees to be eligible. You will be competing for both Gross and Net within your Flight. You will be eligible to compete for the Overall Net but are not eligible for the Overall Gross prize.
HANDICAP INFORMATION:
Teams will be flighted by current combined handicap index (maximum differential of of 8 shots between partners).
For example, if Player A is a 5.3 index, and his partner Player B is a 20.0 index, they will be placed in a flight as as 18.6 combined index. Player B will play the tournament with an initial index of 13.3.
PCC members must have their handicap registered at Pinehurst in order to compete. Players will receive 85% of their course handicap. Maximum strokes awarded after adjustment will be 36.
