Dear Amateur Contestant:

On behalf of the Board of Governors, membership, and staff, welcome to Aronimink Golf Club and the 106th Pennsylvania Golf Association Amateur Championship starting on July 29th. We are very proud to host this prestigious event and look forward to your arrival and participation.

Aronimink was designed by famed golf architect Donald Ross who called Aronimink one of his "masterpieces". Gil Hanse recently restored many of the great Donald Ross characteristics that were lost through the years. Aronimink has hosted many USGA and PGA Tournaments including the 1962 PGA, the 1977 Men's US Amateur, the 1997 USGA Junior Amateur, the 2003 Senior PGA, the 2010 and 2011 AT&T National and most recently the 2018 BMW Championship.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our superintendent, John Gosselin, and his staff, the course is in excellent condition.

Tom Foley, our Caddie Master, will assist you if you need a caddie. Please contact Jeff Kiddie, PGA Head Golf Professional, or John Cunningham, General Manger, who will be glad to assist you with any concerns you may have.

Once again, congratulations. We hope your time with us is both enjoyable and memorable.

Sincerely,

Robert Willcox
President, Aronimink GC
