2019 SNEWGA Spring Cup

TWO Person Teams (Sign up can be done Online or by paper entry, click here for form)

 

This year's tournament will be 5 Weekend Rounds, starting May 5th.

Max handicap is 40.4. 

All course handicaps will be adjusted to 90% and partners will be limited to a maximum 8 stroke handicap spread.

 

Team members must be from the same club, or regional club. 

A separate tournament fee of $10 per team will collected at the round 1 registration desk.

 

Round 1 - 5/5/19 Portland Golf Course, Portland, CT (75% of teams will move on.)

 

$120 per team ($60 per player) covers greens fee and cart.

Round 2 - 5/19/19 Whitney Farms Golf Course, Monroe, CT (50% of teams will move on)

 

Round 3 - 6/2/19 Western Hills, Waterbury, CT (4 Teams will move on to match play)

 

Round 4, Semi-finals - To be determined and held at a neutral site.

 

Round 5, Finals - to be determined and held at a neutral site.  Champions to be "Crowned in Glory"

 

Ties were broken by matching cards, using USGA recommendations.

In the Semi's and Finals, ties will be broken by extending the match until a winner is determined.

 

Tournament will take place rain or shine, unless management closes the course.

SNEWGA refund policy in effect.  If it is necessary to cancel, please contact the tournament coordinator, Karen King, information above.  Donna Courchaine is also available to assist at 860-670-2232.

 

Club SNEWGA reps are available to help you find a partner if needed and/or for substitutes.  It is a player's responsibility to find replacements when needed. 

 

Teams applying after the deadline will be put on a waiting list.

 

Adjustments may be made to the above schedule when needed due to weather or other unexpected circumstances.
