Have you wanted to play in a tournament, but don’t think you’re good enough? Not sure of the rules? Would love to play in a scramble team, but don’t know anyone else who’d like to play? Then this event is for you!
This fun, low-pressure event is designed to help you learn the tournament basics, get comfortable with the rules, and build confidence before the Chapter Championship (CC) at the end of September.
- We will play both Flighted Singles and Scramble Team formats.
- Meet other members who are wanting to form a Scramble team.
- Learn about handicaps and how they help even the field so that everyone has a chance to win in their “Flight” (Flights are a handicap range for competition).
First tee time: 5:30pm
Meet at 5:15pm, ready to play.
The course takes ~1.5 hours to complete
There will be PRIZES after the golfing!
Cost: $23 per person
There are no riding carts for this course–you may use a push cart or carry your bag. Includes water, prizes, and a snack.
Capacity: 16 spots
Registration closes: August 26th
What to Bring?
- You don’t need a driver on this course.
- Treat all tee shots as the “second” shot on a regular golf course. Or your approach shot. (Longest hole is 170 yards. Shortest hole is 86 yards.)
- Suggested club selection: 6 clubs max.
- Putter
- Wedges – Sand & Approach (20-60 yards out)
- Irons – 100 yards and 120 yards
- Hybrid – 120 yards +
